Albert Nobbs

Glenn Close scored an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of a woman posing as a man in 19th century Ireland. Forced to assume the dress and mannerisms of a man to secure a job as a butler in order to survive in the oppressive times, Albert finds his arrangement shaken up by the arrival of a stranger with a secret (Janet McTeer) and her involvement with her fellow servants (played by Mia Wasikowska and Aaron Johnson). Deleted scenes and commentary by director Rodrigo Garcia and Glenn Close are included with the DVD.

One for the Money

Katherine Heigl is Stephanie Plum, card-carrying Jersey girl and badass, in the film adaptation of Janet Evanovich's popular murder mystery series. Out-of-work Plum gets a gig working for her cousin as a bail bondswoman, and despite her lack of experience, she's got a knack for hunting down perps. Her biggest challenge is whether to get back with her momentary high school sweetheart, Joe Morelli, or give in to a fellow recovery agent's charms. Extras include featurettes and a gag reel.

Combat Cabin Fever With Katherine Heigl

It's cold out and cabin fever has set in.

It's cold out and cabin fever has set in. You've extensively researched (aka Facebook stalked) your New Year's kiss, emptied out your DVR, and polished off the last of those Christmas cookies. What's a girl to do? Head to the movie theater!

You won't want to miss One for the Money. Based on Janet Evanovich's best-selling novel, this boyfriend-friendly flick blends action and, of course, romance. And as the story's heroine, Katherine Heigl definitely brings the laughs. Follow her character, Stephanie Plum, a proud, born-and-bred Jersey girl who is on the trail of a murder suspect who also happens to be her high school ex-boyfriend (hilarity ensues). So, step away from the empty cookie tin and mark your calendar, One for the Money hits theaters Jan. 27!

One For the Money Trailer: Katherine Heigl Is a Bounty Hunter With an Attitude, Jersey Accent

Don't think that just because Katherine Heigl is playing a bounty hunter in One For the Money that she's left her romantic comedy clichés behind.

Don't think that just because Katherine Heigl is playing a bounty hunter in One For the Money that she's left her romantic comedy clichés behind. Heigl stars as Stephanie Plum, a New Jersey native who loses her job in retail and ends up working for a family member who's a bail bondsman. One of her first assignments is to nab a man, Joe Morelli (played Terra Nova's Jason O'Mara), who has skipped out on his bail bond. Even though Morelli is Stephanie's mark, he just so happens to be her ex. (Sounds an awful lot like The Bounty Hunter, no?)

Even though Heigl is treading in familiar territory, at least her character is a bit of a stretch from what we usually see from her — she's a tough-talking Jersey girl prone to whipping her shirt off if need be. From the trailer, the movie is entirely predictable, but fans of the book by Janet Evanovich will probably be curious to see Heigl as Plum. Check it out for yourself when you keep reading.
