Friends With Benefits

Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis star as Dylan and Jamie, two Manhattanites who become quick friends and find that they have the same problem: they want to have sex without the burden of a relationship. They start a no-strings-attached sexual relationship, but fall for each other before the credits roll. This romantic comedy is as predictable as it is cute, with plenty of laughs courtesy of the super likable Kunis and moments like JT busting out '90s hits. DVD extras include deleted scenes, a commentary track, and a blooper reel.

One Day

In this adaptation of David Nicholls's novel, Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess play Emma and Dexter, best friends with an occasional romantic streak. The two meet in college and embark on a 20-year friendship, and the film revisits them on the same day each year to depict where they are in their lives and relationship. While fans of the book may not think the film version measures up, the dreamy Sturgess makes this romantic drama worth watching. Extras on the DVD include commentary from director Lone Scherfig, deleted scenes, and a few featurettes.

As if we needed another reason to adore the multitalented Anne Hathaway, the Hollywood sweetheart stepped out for the London premiere of One Day, channeling easy glamour in a lace-embroidered Alexander McQueen dress. We love the nod to Old Hollywood with a red lip and perfectly retro waves, while the white dress and McQueen leather whipstich pumps play beautifully to the season. To finish, Anne added a few megawatt baubles — and her signature, megawatt smile to match. Click through to see all angles of the fabulous premiere look.

Anne Hathaway Has Jim Sturgess to Lean On at One Day's London Premiere

Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway, who wore Alexander McQueen, were side by side for the London premiere of One Day this evening.

Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway, who wore Alexander McQueen, were side by side for the London premiere of One Day this evening. The costars, who walked the red carpet together, reunited overseas after spending a few days together promoting the project in NYC earlier this month. Our I'm a Huge Fan winner was in the Big Apple to chat with Anne in person during her visit, and the two talked about everything from Anne's love of Adele to her Glee guest-starring desires, and her latest role as Catwoman. Anne has been taking breaks from the set of The Dark Knight Rises as she travels to do press and make appearances for her latest film. One Day hasn't necessarily been a critical hit with American reviewers, but we'll see if European audiences give it a warmer reception when it opens there this week. After all, the bestselling novel it's based on originated — and is especially beloved — in England, though it has now sold more than one million copies worldwide.

Anne Hathaway Style History 2011-08-19 11:58:53

Today marks the release of Anne Hathaway's new film One Day; a movie that spans over the course of 20 years, following Anne's character through many different hair, makeup, and style changes — not unlike the actress's real-life style evolution. A breakout role in the Princess Diaries may have proven nearly autobiographical for Anne Hathaway; her princess-like rise to Hollywood stardom and elite style status align with that of her fictional character. Now she's one of Hollywood's top young actors and muse to elite designers like Armani Privé and Valentino, but Anne began her career with a modest girl-next-door style that lacked the polished presence we expect from her today. Boasting a résumé that includes roles in Brokeback Mountain, The Devil Wears Prada, Rachel Getting Married, and now One Day, and countless red carpets later, Anne's earned her place in Hollywood about a dozen times over. We've enjoyed every moment of Miss Hathaway's fashionable evolution from girl next door to classic Hollywood star, one who channels ladylike polish via romantic dresses, feminine embellishments, and lots of red on the red carpet. Before you see One Day in theaters, click through to see just how far Anne Hathaway has come.
