Michael Fassbender and his girlfriend Nicole Beharie shared a motorcycle ride in London today. She's in the UK visiting him while he spends time in the UK shooting Ridley Scott's The Counselor with Brad Pitt. Michael actually maintains his home base in London, despite being born in Germany and growing up in Ireland. Nicole, though, is from NYC, which is where she and Michael met while making Shame back in 2011. Michael has said that he and Nicole didn't get together while filming, but rather noticed sparks during their subsequent press tour.
Michael Fassbender put on a public display of affection in SoHo yesterday on a casual date with Nicole Beharie. It's the first we've seen of the pair hanging out as a couple, though they shared the big screen in their NC17-rated drama Shame. Michael's been known to date costars in the past: last Summer Michael dated Zoe Kravitz following the completion of their superhero blockbuster X Men: First Class.
Michael shares the spotlight with another lovely lady, Charlize Theron, in their upcoming space thriller, Prometheus. The film's director Ridley Scott is expected to premiere the official trailer Saturday at Wondercon, but if you can't wait to see Charlize and Michael in action, check out the chilling Prometheus teaser clip!
The hot actor Michael Fassbender was on the NYC set of Shame yesterday afternoon with his costar Nicole Beharie. Michael, who's had parts in Inglourious Basterds, Hunger, and last year's underwatched British movie Fish Tank, is poised to become one of Hollywood's hottest actors with upcoming roles in Jane Eyre and the awesome-looking action film X-Men: First Class. He apparently met his rumored flame Zoe Kravitz on the set of the action project, and Michael revealed to us at a recent press event that he was planning a romantic Valentine's Day for an unnamed lucky lady in the Big Apple.
I haven't heard a ton of buzz surrounding American Violet, a little film scheduled to hit theaters in limited release on April 17, but the few reviews that have come out about it have been mostly positive. In particular, the performance by newcomer Nicole Beharie at the heart of it seems to elevate the film from average to definitely worth watching.
Based on a true story, the movie revolves around a 24-year-old single mother, Dee, who is wrongfully accused of being a drug dealer. "Even though Dee has no prior drug record and no drugs were found on her in the raid or any subsequent searches, she is offered a hellish choice: plead guilty and go home as a convicted felon or remain in prison and fight the charges thus, jeopardizing her custody and risking a long prison sentence." Despite her mother's advice against it, Dee decides to fight.
