Julianne Moore and Alexander Skarsgard looked like one happy family when they premiered their new film, What Maisie Knew, in NYC last night alongside their young costar Onata Aprile. In the film, which is based on the novel by Henry James, Julianne and Alexander play husband and wife, but their relationship quickly goes sour as Julianne's rock-chick character begins to pawn off her daughter on Alexander and her ex-husband's new wife. Small-screen stars like Girls' Zosia Mamet and Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau also dropped by the screening to show support for their fellow HBO star Alexander.

What Maisie Knew isn't the only project that Julianne has been busy promoting. She premiered her new film The English Teacher at the Tribeca Film Festival in April — check out our interview with Julianne Moore and her costar Michael Angarano from the festival!

How to Make a Soft Smoky Eye Really Pop

Natalie Dormer put the smoke in smoky eye last night at the Game of Thrones Exhibition opening. By choosing lighter shades of brown and gray over black, she enhanced the color of her bright blue eyes. To get a similar look, use the shades in the Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Trio in Almond Satin ($6) up to the crease and under the lower lash line, too. Blend the darker shades in the outer corners and the lighter hue in the inner eye. What really distinguishes this smoky eye from the rest is the dark black liner. Use a waterproof pencil like Stila Smudge Crayon ($22) in the waterline, lash line, and tear duct. The inky addition gives edge to an otherwise soft look. Natalie finished off her red carpet look with a sheer pink blush and lipstick.
