Nicole Kidman joined her Stoker costars Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode in London last night for a special screening. Decked out in a dress from her designer friend L'Wren Scott, Nicole posed for photos both inside and outside of the city's Curzon Soho theater. Having the screening in the UK may have helped Nicole get her hands on the dress — it was fresh of the runway of L'Wren Scott's Autumn/Winter 2013 show that took place in London on Saturday! Stoker is out in both the UK and the US on March 1. Stoker debuted at Sundance last month, though, to quite good early reviews.
Nicole Kidman Embraces Her Dark Side at Sundance With Stoker
Nicole Kidman showed off her wintry chic style in a fitted coat at the Sundance Film Festival premiere of her thriller Stoker on Sunday afternoon. Once inside the screening, Nicole showed off a very formfitting dress on stage. She was joined by her costars Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, and Dermot Mulroney on the red carpet. We got a first look at the movie's creepy vibe when the Stoker trailer was released in the Fall, and last night the audience was finally treated to Korean director Chan-wook Park's latest. Nicole then went on to party the night away with fellow festivalgoers. Nicole is coming right off her glamorous Golden Globes night with husband Keith Urban, though he skipped out on the trip to Park City, UT.
Scarlett and Keira Take a Trip Through Time For W's 40th Anniversary
Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley, Mia Wasikowska, and Rooney Mara all have the honor of fronting a different cover for W magazine's 40th anniversary edition. Scarlett's repping the '90s, Mia went '80s, Rooney had '70s style, and Keira was modern with a 2000s vibe — see more photos of the actresses in the W anniversary edition. Keira, Scarlett, Rooney, and Mia also did interviews with the publication to chat about style and famous ladies from their assigned decades. Here are highlights from Keira, Rooney, Mia, and Scarlett in W:
- Keira on what she's hated style-wise in the last decade: "I think skinny jeans and micro-miniskirts are very unfriendly. I've been known to wear both, but on some days it seems like they were invented to make you feel bad about yourself."
- Rooney on an interesting '70s celebrity: "Style-wise, the person I'm most drawn to is Ali MacGraw. There was something about her that was very regal but very natural at the same time. We kind of modeled my character in The Social Network after her: I had a crocheted beret that was inspired by the one she wore in Love Story."
- Scarlett on an unfortunate '90s trend: "Turtlenecks — they're horrible. I tried to get into them because they are so practical, but they're just so unfortunate. Men don't like turtlenecks. I've never met a man who likes anything around his neck other than my hands."
Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley Get Retro
Four of Hollywood's most intriguing ingénues — Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley, Mia Wasikowska, and Rooney Mara — were tapped to grace four special edition covers of W in honor of the magazine's 40th anniversary. Photographed by Steven Klein, each actress was styled in Fall 2012 pieces meant to represent one of the last four decades: Mara channels the '70s in patterned Prada and an oversize Albertus Swanepoel hat, Wasikowska is utterly '80s in snakeskin-printed Balenciaga, Johansson is the picture of glam '90s in black Dolce & Gabbana, and Knightley — almost unrecognizable with slicked-back blond hair — is a vision of the 2000s in sculpted Chanel.

Accompanying each cover is a Lynn Hirschberg-conducted profile that focuses on each actress's respective decade. "I think skinny jeans and micro-miniskirts are very unfriendly," Knightley says regarding her least-favorite naughts trend "I've been known to wear both, but on some days it seems like they were invented to make you feel bad about yourself." Meanwhile, Johansson has her own strong feelings about a certain '90s staple. "Men don’t like turtlenecks. I’ve never met a man who likes anything around his neck other than my hands."

All four covers hit newsstands Oct. 23. Preview them all here, in the slideshow.

Stoker Trailer: Nicole Kidman Could Use Some Parenting Classes
Think your mom can be kind of mean sometimes? Watch the severely troubling trailer for Stoker and thank your lucky stars she's not crazy-eyed Evie Stoker (Nicole Kidman). We're introduced to Evie as she's talking to her daughter, India, played by Mia Wasikowska. "I can't wait for life to rip you apart," she says as India shivers in the corner. It's not exactly the heartfelt talk you'd expect to get after your father dies, as India's has in the film. The trailer goes on to show Evie getting close to India's uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode), which creates problems for the whole family — especially when we learn that Uncle Charlie really has his sights set on India.
Nicole Kidman is a powerful actress, but this one might be too creepy for me. From the sound effects to the digitized spider crawling up India's sock, this trailer had me squirming. The movie is set for a March 1 release, and you can watch the trailer after the jump.
Miu Miu's Crystallized Cameos Are Anything but Old School
This may just be the year of the cameo. Not only did Lanvin offer them up in dramatic medallion styles for Pre-Fall 2012, but now Miu Miu's gorgeous crystallized versions for Summer 2012 have finally hit online and in stores.

Though classic techniques like hand engraving and investment casting were used to create these jewels — and they may be adorned with crystals, brass, and pearls — these cameos are anything but old school. Each silhouetted face comes in a statement-making jumbo size and backed in an eye-popping hue — vivid marigold, tomato red, pink, or cerulean blue.

Shia and Tom Hardy Bring a Double Dose of Hotness to Cannes For Lawless
Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy play brothers on the big screen in Lawless, which they debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, today. The two made a handsome pair at their morning photocall, where they joined their leading ladies Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska. Shia was sporting a well-manicured scruff while Tom has clearly been growing out his facial hair. Jessica has been the belle of the ball at the festival so far, hitting up many red carpets and also promoting Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted yesterday. The film, which was formerly called The Wettest County in the World, has its big red-carpet premiere later on Saturday. The movie was met by positive reviews from the press who checked out the first screening. We had a chance to see Lawless this morning and will be chatting with the cast tomorrow.
We're on the ground here at the festival, so don't miss all of the Cannes celebrity pictures so far and follow PopSugar on Twitter for all of our updates.

Vanity Fair Celebrates Fresh Young Stars Like Rooney, Mia, Jennifer, and Jessica
Rooney Mara, Mia Wasikowska, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jessica Chastain have the honor of being on the very front cover of March 2012's Vanity Fair. It's the publication's "Fresh Young Stars of 2012" issue, featuring 11 up-and-coming actresses. Inside the cover fold, Elizabeth Olsen, Adepero Oduye, Shailene Woodley, Paula Patton, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins, and Brit Marling are also featured. Mario Testino gathered them all together for a recent photo shoot — click through to see the full image of all 11 together!
The last 12 months have been big for each of the ladies, in particular Rooney, Mia, Jennifer, and Jessica. Rooney just scored an Oscar nomination for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, as did Jessica for The Help. Mia's Albert Nobbs got a great deal of award season love, and Jennifer is looking forward to the release of her huge series The Hunger Games. The actresses opened up for the magazine about their careers, childhood crushes, and more. They said:
- Jessica on her superstar crush: "Ralph Fiennes. The English Patient. Of course. Those love scenes!"
- Jennifer on who else she'd like to work with: "I'd love to work with the Coen brothers. Tommy Lee Jones. Jack Nicholson. And I'd love to work with Renée Zellweger. I'm a huge Renée Zellweger fan."
- Rooney on her crush growing up: "Thom Yorke."
- Jennifer on her childhood crush: "When I was little, like '90s era, I had such a big crush on Justin Timberlake from *NSYNC that I almost threw up."
- Mia on someone she'd like to work with: "I just saw We Need to Talk About Kevin, and I'm a huge fan of
Tilda Swinton, and I'm hopefully going to work with her next year. She's one of my favorites. And that movie was probably one of my favorites of the year."
Happy Birthday, Mia Wasikowska!
If you've watched The Kids Are All Right or Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, you'll recognize actress Mia Wasikowska's quietly beautiful face. And, if you haven't — tune in, because Mia's career shows no signs of slowing down, taking the lead in Jane Eyre, and most recently, in Gus Van Sant's Restless, for which the actress made styled appearances at both Cannes and Toronto Film Festival. What's at the forefront of our minds is Mia's quirky-cum-ladylike aesthetic; it rivals Carey Mulligan's ladylike ways, and has us currently obsessed with her perfectly-executed red carpet looks. With a penchant for Rodarte, Jason Wu, Valentino, and basically anything demure with a slightly funky edge, she's quite quickly become one of our favorite young actresses to watch. Since today happens to be the actress's 22nd birthday, we're celebrating with a look at her most memorable looks so far.
