You know, the 1986 Little Shop of Horrors movie that we all know and love (or at least sing along to) was itself an adaptation of the 1982 stage musical version of the 1960 film Little Shop of Horrors (starring a young Jack Nicholson). So, maybe remaking the story in 2009 is not such a crazy idea, eh?
Declan O'Brien (director of the upcoming Wrong Turn 3) is reportedly bringing that little horrors shop back to the big screen — and not in musical form. O'Brien's being quite coy with the details, saying only, "I have a take on it you're not going to expect. I'm taking it in a different direction, let's put it that way."
I'm interested to see a modern take on the original material, the dark 1960 comedy. Could you see another Little Shop on the big screen, complete with (I'm assuming) CGI "horrors," being kinda cool?
