Melrose Place Style: Sydney Andrews
Sydney Andrews makes an astonishing appearance in the season finale of Melrose Place. Melrose Place Style: Sydney Andrews
Laura Leighton appears as the recently departed Sydney Andrews in the 12th episode of Melrose Place, but only as a memory. She was well-dressed during her last visit with Amanda, wearing a chic zip-front dress and fabulous gold jewelry. This Alexander Wang dress has a similar feel, so shop it now along with other great pieces!

Melrose Place Style: Sydney Andrews
In the eighth episode of the season, the ghost of Sydney Andrews (Laura Leighton) shows up at the cemetery to see David (Shaun Sipos). Although a bit dark and morbid, she does looks great post-murder! Her black keyhole dress is similar to this one by Trina Turk, and she adds some black sunglasses and high heels for a cemetery-appropriate look. Shop it all now.

Ashlee Parties With Melrose Girls Old and New
Ashlee Simpson was in another chic minidress Saturday to celebrate the upcoming premiere of Melrose Place in LA. She was joined on the blue carpet by her costar Katie Cassidy, new guest star Jenna Dewan, and fellow CW actress Jessica Stroup. A few lovely ladies from the original TV series were also on hand, like Laura Leighton and Daphne Zuniga. Heather Locklear wasn't there, but there are rumors she's in talks to reprise her role on the spinoff.

Which Melrose Place Alum Is Most Fab?
I know I'm not old, but when networks are redoing shows I watched when I was younger, I can't help but feel that way. The new Melrose Place had an LA premiere last night — where Jessica Stroup took home the style trophy — and it was a blast from the past seeing some of the original saucy characters. And how great they look! I always had an affinity for Amanda, Heather Locklear's character, but she was a no-show. Eventually I came to love the crazy flame-haired Sydney, played by Laura Leighton, who did show in a LBD and sexy pumps. Here is a trio of the OG pretties from the premiere — who's the most Fab?!
The CW Stars Are Upfront and Center
The old and new faces of the CW network worked the green carpet at the Upfronts in NYC earlier today. The Gossip Girl kids are old alumni by now — feels like just yesterday they were representing the show for the first time. As usual, they were all super stylish, and you can click here to get Leighton's look now. Among the new additions hoping to follow in their successful footsteps were Ashlee Simpson leading the cast of Melrose Place, as well as the stars of Vampire Diaries. Both shows got picked up for the Fall, but the Gossip Girl spinoff didn't quite yet. The 90210 ladies also made an appearance, gearing up for their second season of drama.

Melrose Place Fans: Sydney Is Back
Wondering which original-flavor Melrose Place cast members might be adding some sizzle to the Melrose Place spinoff? Wonder no more: Laura Leighton will reprise her role as Sydney in the CW's planned update of the series.
Not only is she back, she's . . . reanimated? I mean, the girl got run over by a car at the end of the first Melrose's fifth season. But apparently she's been fine all along — or, at least, functional enough to return as the landlord to a new generation.
Scheming, immature, and totally dead Sydney . . . as a landlord? That sounds like Melrose Place logic at its best. Something tells me they're going to have some 'splaining to do if this show makes it to TV, but I'd tune in just to see how the writers explain this twist. How do you think they'll justify bringing Sydney back from the dead? And which other Melrose cast members need to hurry up and join her?
