Kristen Adds Glamour to Women of the Year Awards With Kim, Garrett, and More

Kristen Stewart rocked a Balmain mini last night to the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, held at London's Berkeley Square Gardens.

Kristen Stewart rocked a Balmain mini last night to the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, held at London's Berkeley Square Gardens. Twilight's leading lady made the trek to England after a Sunday spent in LA at the MTV Movie Awards, where Kristen and Robert Pattinson cuddled backstage between their various acceptance speeches. They brought their PDA party to Jason Sudeikis's bash at Soho House afterward, but Rob and Kristen parted ways Monday. He headed back to the Canadian set of Cosmopolis, and she went east to England. Kristen reunited with her On the Road costar Garrett Hedlund and even presented him with the Man of the Year honor. Transformers: Dark of the Moon star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, in Stella McCartney, was crowned with the Editor's Special Award, with Bridesmaids mastermind Kristen Wiig, in J. Mendel, on hand to watch. A Dolce & Gabbana-clad Kim Kardashian arrived in the UK to receive the Entrepreneur of the Year statue, and she took advantage of her location to launch her self-titled new perfume at Debenhams department store this morning.

Katy and Russell Make Their First Appearance as a Married Couple at the MTV Europe Music Awards

Katy Perry and Russell Brand made their debut as husband and wife last night at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand made their debut as husband and wife last night at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid. They headed to Europe after wrapping up their honeymoon in the Maldives and ceremony in India. Newlywed Katy was among the many gorgeous ladies on the red carpet who chose pink lipstick, which she paired with a sparkly movie ticket dress. Katy's most noticeable accessory as she posed with her husband was her brand-new diamond covered wedding ring. She played host at the event last year, but yesterday Eva Longoria had a ton of fun taking over the job.

Katy shared the stage with pal Rihanna, who recently admitted to feeling terrible about missing the Brand-Perry wedding due to her responsibilities promoting her upcoming album Loud. Shakira was on the long list of performers, and she showed off her iconic abs in a small top. Taylor Momsen brought along her band The Pretty Reckless, while Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, and Jared Leto's 30 Seconds to Mars added some testosterone to the show — there was also a whole lot of skin on display, including from a leotard-wearing Miley Cyrus. This week's new music offers one much-anticipated album from a buzz-worthy band, along with two new records from big female stars. Read on to see what's worth a coveted spot on your iPhone.

Kings of Leon, Come Around Sundown
The lowdown: After an explosive couple of years thanks to "Use Somebody," the rock band slows things down with a fifth album that boasts a more sophisticated sound — but with fewer hooks.
Choice tracks: "Radioactive"
"Pickup Truck"
"Beach Side"
Download this album if you: Prefer the band's mellow tunes over their catchy radio hits.

Liz Phair, Funstyle
The lowdown: The indie queen returns with an irreverent disc of charmingly inconsistent tracks. Getting in on the fun is Dave Matthews, who provides some guitar.
Choice tracks: "My My"
"Miss September"
"And He Slayed Her"
Download this album if you: Have a love for Liz Phair and a sense of humor about your music.

Lauren Conrad Preps to Say Goodbye to The Hills With the Kings

Lauren Conrad and Jessica Biel joined friends last night to see a Kings of Leon concert in LA.

Lauren Conrad and Jessica Biel joined friends last night to see a Kings of Leon concert in LA. It was also the perfect place for a date for Hilary Duff and Zoe Saldana — Hilary brought her fiancé, Mike Comrie, and Zoe kept her new engagement ring hidden on the way in with Keith Britton. Lauren, meanwhile, attended without her guy Kyle Howard, but she'll reunite with some old pals on MTV this evening for the series finale of The Hills. It's been a long and memorable road for LC and the rest of the cast — how well do you know their latest season? There may be additional drama to come at the afterparty, which Spencer Pratt just might crash.

Taylor, Beyonce and Jay-Z Win Big at the Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards took over LA's Shrine Auditorium Sunday night, with many of music's biggest stars heading in from the red carpet to see who took home gold.

The Grammy Awards took over LA's Shrine Auditorium Sunday night, with many of music's biggest stars heading in from the red carpet to see who took home gold. Kicking off the show was a performance from Lady Gaga, which featured a special duet with Elton John in special Gaga-esque makeup and glasses. Beyonce Knowles wasn't able to accept her statue for Song of the Year, which she won for "Single Ladies," since she was getting ready to take the stage and sing a cover of Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" — watch it here. Ryan Seacrest was soon up to introduce Miss Swift, who joined legendary Stevie Nicks for a rendition of "Rhiannon." Britney stuck close to Jason Trawick all night long. One of the night's cutest moments was when Rihanna and Jay-Z brought up his nephew, Solange Knowles's son Julez, onstage to accept for "Run This Town," though he politely answered "no thanks" when asked if he wanted to say anything to the crowd — check out all the winners on Buzz!

Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas were together for an energetic mix of their recent hits, but it was the Michael Jackson tribute that took things to another level. Lionel Richie introduced a group of artists including Usher, Celine Dion and Carrie Underwood to sing Michael's "Earth Song." The piece was interestingly broadcast in 3-D, though they were back to regular 2-D when Michael's kids Paris and Prince came out to accept an honorary award on behalf of their father. Another touching moment came when Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli performed "Bridge Over Troubled Water" as a tribute to the people of Haiti. It was Beyonce herself who won the Best Female Pop Performance, and she adorably thanked her husband Jay-Z in the front row, even breaking from their usual super-private strategy saying, "I love you!" The biggest honor of the night went to Taylor Swift with her Album of the Year award, making it a pretty sweet night for the star after also winning Country Album of the Year. Afterward she stepped back to the press room to chat about her big wins!

Grammy Press Room: How Kings of Leon Beat Taylor Swift

This year's Grammy winners may have been fairly expected names (Beyonce, Taylor, Beyonce again), but the ladies didn't get all the glory.

This year's Grammy winners may have been fairly expected names (Beyonce, Taylor, Beyonce again), but the ladies didn't get all the glory. Kings of Leon made their own waves, taking home Record of the Year for "Use Somebody." When they came back into the press room to reporters, they revealed just how they outdid some of the biggest names in pop music for the win.

  • On how they feel about their Grammys: Caleb Followill said, "I think the best thing about winning Grammys is that it's really the first time our family gets to see the success of what we've been doing. Things that have been big everywhere else for a while, now are starting to happen in America. My mom is here, so it's special. We're getting my mom wasted!"
  • On why they had success overseas first: Nathan Followill said, "I think there’s so much music out there, especially in America. You know, in England and in Europe, it's a little more fascinating, our backstory — as opposed to, a fan in Minnesota who really couldn't give a sh*t about three guys from Tennessee that are brothers and have a band with a cousin. But I think overseas they kind of jumped onto the story, and luckily we stuck around long enough for the music to kind of keep us going."
