Pauly D, JWoww, and Snooki Get Spinoff Series — Whose Show Will You Watch?

Can't get enough of Jersey Shore?

Can't get enough of Jersey Shore? Don't worry, because soon you'll have other ways of getting your fill outside of the shore house. MTV gave the green light to two spinoff series to air in 2012. While DJ Pauly D (real name: Paul Delvecchio) will have his own show, JWoww and Snooki (aka Jenni Farley and Nicole Polizzi) will costar on a separate series. The girls' show will focus on Snooki and JWoww's friendship, while Pauly D's will follow his career as a DJ as he travels around the country.

Though I'll still watch the flagship series, I know I'm going to get sucked into these companion reality shows too. Pauly D, JWoww, and Snooki are definitely some of the more charismatic personalities in the house, but will you still want to watch them without the rest of the gang? And is there someone else in the house, like The Situation, that you think deserves a spinoff more than these three?

Snooki Speaking Engagement Costs $32,000

Who knew the words of Jersey Shore's favorite guidette would cost this much?

Who knew the words of Jersey Shore's favorite guidette would cost this much? Rutgers University paid Snooki a hefty $32,000 for giving two question and answer sessions last night that were apparently sold out, reports the New York Daily News. Wearing a black dress and a gold headband and belt, Snooki dispensed gems of advice such as "Study hard . . . but party harder." Further, when asked about her biggest inspiration, she replied, "I'd honestly say, being tan . . . When you're tan, you feel better."

Sadly, Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison is going to be paid less than Snooki to speak at the school. Toni is going to be paid $30,000 to speak at the school's commencement in May. Do you think Snooki was overpaid?

OnSugar Recap: Jersey Shore Season Three Episode 12

There are so many highlights to dish about from Jersey Shore season three, episode 12.

  • Vinny admitted that it "could get there" with Nicole and he has "genuine feelings" for her. (Too bad he turned into Vinny the jerk later on in the episode, and offended Snooks by treating her like sloppy seconds.)
  • Speaking of Vinny, the guys convinced him to get his ears pierced. Cute moment!
  • Danielle "the stalker" showed up again at the club — and Pauly declared he wouldn't go anywhere by himself from now on.

  • Sammi and Ronnie made up and then hooked up. No surprise there!
  • We were introduced to the "atomic bomb" — the biggest grenade Pauly D had ever seen. (We kinda feel bad for her though.)
  • Ronnie's drunk mother called the house. In fact, she was drunk dialing all day. Seems like the poor woman was just looking for someone to talk to. But Mike took it too far when he told her all about the latest Ronnie-Sammi drama.
  • Mike stirred up trouble between Sammi and Ronnie once again — by calling Sammi out on the whole Arvin drama. Looks like Sam might be hiding something, but we'll have to wait until next week to find out.

TV Time Saver: Watch DVR'd Shows in Fast-Forward

I wish I could take credit for this awesome tip, but it comes to us courtesy of Facebook's Erin Kanaley, who mentioned it during our interview last week.

I wish I could take credit for this awesome tip, but it comes to us courtesy of Facebook's Erin Kanaley, who mentioned it during our interview last week. If you're starved for time but don't want to miss out on your favorite guilty indulgences, try watching them in fast-forward.

Erin admits to doing this for Jersey Shore, which sounds like a fantastic idea. You can watch an entire hour-long show in about 30 seconds. And in the case of Jersey Shore and shows like it, you get all of the context without having to put up with drawn-out plot lines . . . or sound!

Does anyone else do this? I'm absolutely trying it out!
