Jennifer Grey Wins Dancing With the Stars

You called it: Dancing With the Stars has crowned Jennifer Grey its new winner, and what a deserving winner she is!

You called it: Dancing With the Stars has crowned Jennifer Grey its new winner, and what a deserving winner she is! Grey pulled off perfect tens throughout the competition, persisting through her injuries to take home the mirror ball trophy. Kyle Massey finished out the season in second place, followed by Bristol Palin in third (that seems fair given their performances). How do you feel about the results?

Who Do You Want to Win Dancing With the Stars?

Dancing With the Stars will hand out yet another mirror ball trophy this evening!

Dancing With the Stars will hand out yet another mirror ball trophy this evening! After months of tough competition, the original 12 contestants have been whittled down to only three: Bristol Palin, Jennifer Grey, and Kyle Massey.

Clearly, Grey is the favorite to win. She's performed solidly all season despite injuries, and last night's final faceoff was no exception. Grey earned perfect 10s for both of her dances, besting both Massey and Palin. Even so, if Brandy's surprising elimination taught us anything, it's that scores don't equal safety. In that case, Massey could beat her. He's given several fun routines and consistently hovered toward the top of the leaderboard. But I wouldn't count Palin out either. Though she's obviously the weakest, she must have a strong fan base to have stayed in the competition this long. Just please don't shoot your TV if she wins.

The majority of you have supported Grey from the very beginning, so does she still get your vote? Who do you want to win?

It's a Cult Movie Halloween: Have the Time of Your Life as Baby

Last year for Halloween, I had witches on the mind, but this year, it's all about the cult movies.

Last year for Halloween, I had witches on the mind, but this year, it's all about the cult movies. Since Jennifer Grey has been a force to be reckoned with on this season's Dancing With the Stars, let's kick off this series by paying tribute to the role that made her famous: Baby Houseman from Dirty Dancing.

There are lots of different '60s-style costume options for Baby. When it comes to her beauty look, her curly light brown bob stands out most. Just be sure to tease the underlayers of the back of your hair (or wig) like crazy to achieve her triangular-shaped coiffure.

While Baby never wears all that much makeup, a lipstick shade in a brownish-pink, rust, or pretty rose tone, paired with a subtly frosted pink, purple, golden, or taupe shadow will do the trick. Top off with some soft pink blush, topaz-colored liner, and get up out of that corner and do the pachanga with your lover boy.

A Fabby Halloween: Baby

What better way to pay tribute to the late Patrick Swayze than with an ode to his "Baby" in Dirty Dancing?

What better way to pay tribute to the late Patrick Swayze than with an ode to his "Baby" in Dirty Dancing? The story of a rich and innocent teenage girl turned infatuated woman will always be engraved in my memory. My favorite scene was when Frances "Baby" Houseman told Swayze she carried a watermelon — hilarious. Replicate Baby's innocent '80s look in a white Summer dress and matching heels, or with high-waist denim shorts and a cropped white top. Oh yes, don't forget the tight curls and sexy dance moves!

Just can't get enough? Join my A Fabby Halloween group, where we can share ideas, photos, and revel in Halloween happiness.

Recast Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Win a Prize!

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie.

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!

For this week's challenge, I chose a film that will always be a classic in my eyes: Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Ferris was one of those charmed kids who could get away with anything just by flashing his impish grin — even dancing on a parade float right beneath his father's office window.

And what adventure-filled "sick" day would be complete without a team of accomplices? There's Ferris' pretty girlfriend Sloane, his woeful buddy Cameron, and his snide sister Jeanie. If you could recast this lovable 1986 movie with any actors of your choosing, who would you pick? Leave your entry in the comment section below by the end of the day TODAY, and I'll pick one winner to feature Tuesday, April 17, complete with a "new" cast photo. Recast Dirty Dancing!

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie.

Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. This week, let's go back to the summer of 1963, when a girl named Baby became a woman. Released in 1987, Dirty Dancing has a little bit of everything: class conflict, father-daughter confrontations, an abortion, and a campy dance number, all set during the dreamy summertime in the Catskills.

Jennifer Grey, Patrick Swayze, and the gang made for a memorable cast, but if you could cast this movie today, who would you pick to play the stubborn Baby, temperamental Johnny, and gruff Dr. Houseman? What about dancer Penny or Baby's haughty sister, Lisa? Leave your entry in the comment section, and I'll pick one winner to feature next Tuesday, March 27, complete with a "new" cast photo.

Characters to recast:
Baby (Jennifer Grey)
Johnny (Patrick Swayze)
Dr. Houseman (Jerry Orbach)
Lisa (Jane Brucker)
Penny (Cynthia Rhodes)
