Which Canceled HBO Show Will You Miss the Most?

HBO issued a small bit of good news for one of its shows today, and a big dose of bad news for three others: the cable network renewed Enlightened but canceled Hung, How to Make It in America and Bored to Death. All three series just wrapped up their most recent (and now final) seasons — Hung and Bored to Death finished out their third seasons while How to Make It in America just ended its second run. Even though Hung just earned a Golden Globe nomination for star Thomas Jane, the show and its fellow series on the chopping block all suffered from low ratings. HBO will have a slew of newbies in place soon enough, but until then, let's mourn for these dearly departed series. Tell us now: which of these canceled HBO shows will you miss most?

Is It Smarter to Borrow Money From Friends or Family?

I'm already hooked on HBO's new series How to Make It in America, which chronicles Ben, a young designer, trying to make it big with the help of his best bud and sidekick Cam.

I'm already hooked on HBO's new series How to Make It in America, which chronicles Ben, a young designer, trying to make it big with the help of his best bud and sidekick Cam. The boys are strapped for startup cash but full of ideas and happy to hit up whoever will listen — from friends and family to acquaintances — for loans and leads. Borrowing money for a business venture or a down payment is a touchy subject for most of us, but often necessary. When faced with no other option, would you rather take money from a friend or your family?

Bryan Greenberg Talks About How to Make It in America

HBO premieres new series How to Make It in America tonight, the latest venture from producer Mark Wahlberg.

HBO premieres new series How to Make It in America tonight, the latest venture from producer Mark Wahlberg. Like Entourage, we're following a group of guy friends — but this time we're on the isle of Manhattan. At the center of the story is Ben, an aspiring designer hustling his way to the top of one of the biggest fashion scenes — alongside his business partner and BFF Cam.

I've already shared some first photos of the series, but I recently chatted with star Bryan Greenberg who plays Ben to get his take. Greenberg is no stranger to TV, given his turns on shows like October Road. Still, he'll be the first to admit that he's not usually known for stuff this edgy (remember when he crooned on his guitar on One Tree Hill?). Listen in:

On why he loves his new gig: "It’s an amazing project, a really intelligent series. It's fun! We shot it in all the cool locations in New York. I'm working with really talented directors like Julian Farino and other guys like Joshua Marston who did Maria Full of Grace and Jonathan Levine of The Wackness. Working at HBO, everything's quality over there. They take risks, and this show has an edge to it. It's different for me, because it's a little edgier. I loved it — I hope I can come back for a second season."

The gang from How to Make It in America got together in NYC last to celebrate their upcoming series premiere, which airs on HBO Sunday on Valentine's Day. Stars Lake Bell, Bryan Greenberg and Victor Rasuk were joined by Eddie Kaye Thomas and Scott Mescudi, aka Kid Cudi, on the red carpet. We were able to recently chat with Bryan and Victor about their new Mark Wahlberg produced show — make sure to tune into PopSugar Rush Friday to see our exclusive interview! Lake was thrilled to meet other members of the HBO family, including Entourage's Adrian Grenier and Big Love's Chloe Sevigny.

Josh Lucas joined the cast at the after-party in the Bowery Hotel, which also brought out Kristen Dunst. Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr had the evening off from Gossip Girl and were caught on their way home, as was Avatar's Zoe Saldana and her boyfriend Keith Britton. The How to Make It in America stars still have lots of press to do before their first episode airs this weekend, but the blizzard currently taking over the Big Apple unfortunately got in Bryan's way forcing him to reschedule a date with Jimmy Kimmel in LA.
