The 2011 Grammy award nominations were announced last night in LA during a live televised concert performance. Kanye West took top honors with seven nods, and not far behind was soulful singer Adele with six. Popular artists Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars, and Taylor Swift were also among those recognized — see BuzzSugar's entire list of Grammy award nominees! Lady Gaga, who is up for album of the year, best pop solo performance, and best pop vocal album, opened and closed the show with two of her hot tracks. Usher, Ludacris, and best new artist contender The Band Perry also performed while Katy, Nicki, and other popular musicians announced the nominees. The Grammy awards take place in LA on Feb. 12, and hopefully, ailing singer Adele will be fully recovered from recent throat surgery to take part in the show.
The champagne is chilled and our dresses are picked out — we defintiely have Oscars fever here at Sugar HQ. Coming off the heels of a spectacular Grammys performance, Gywneth is set to hit the stage at the Oscars to perform her number from Country Strong. It's just a few days before the show, and Gwyneth has been spotted hitting the gym — no doubt to make sure she's in top shape before the big awards show. We definitely can relate to Gwyneth and have been known to get in some last-minute toning exercises before attending a wedding.
Beyoncé let a little Sasha Fierce out at the 2010 Grammy Awards - donning a touch of rocker glitz in her hair. Zelana asks Beyoncé’s hairstylist, Kimberly Kimble, to give us the inside scoop on products she uses to get the look. Featuring Kimble Hair Care Products and the finishing touch: Bella Via metallic ribbon strands!
Oh man, what's not to love about Beyoncé? She's a talented actress, has a curvy body we love, and has a knack for delivering some of the best music to work out to. We're excited that Beyoncé is leading the pack in Grammy nominations and can't wait to see her on the red carpet! In our last installment of Get the Bod, Grammys edition, we'll be taking a look at what Jay-Z's girl does to stay fit and healthy, and how she'll most likely be preparing for her big night out.
At the core of Beyoncé's workout regimen is trainer Marco Borges's Power Moves system. The concept is that you work several muscle groups at once, doing exercises like reverse lunge presses, dumbbell front squats, and jumping lunges. Borges revealed that to get Beyoncé in shape for her Summer tour, the singer did "interval training — 45 minutes of alternating between sprinting and running on the treadmill, followed by body-resistance work." During the tour, Beyoncé did yoga and Pilates for an hour on show days and body-resistance exercises on days when she’s not performing.

Next up in our get the bod Grammys edition is country-pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. After hearing the news that she could possibly take home eight Grammys this year, Swift told the Associated Press that she "started freaking out and jumping up and down." If past red carpet moments are any indication, I'm expecting nothing less than breathtaking from her at this year's Grammys.
At a svelte 5'11" and only 19-years-old, Swift has youth and an active metabolism working in her favor. It's been rumored that Swift has followed a raw food diet in the past but she tends to keep pretty quiet on what she eats, wanting the public to focus on her music instead. Swift was recently seen having dinner at Beinhana where she enjoyed a dinner date with Twilight star, Taylor Lautner.
