Ladies Wow in White With JGL and Christian Bale at NYC's Dark Knight Rises Premiere

The Dark Knight Rises cast made an entrance at their big premiere in NYC last night.

The Dark Knight Rises cast made an entrance at their big premiere in NYC last night. Leading ladies Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard both looked glamorous in white, with Anne wearing a Prabal Gurung gown, with Kwiat jewels, and Marion in a short Christian Dior dress. Their costar Christian Bale was dapper in a suit and vest as he posed with wife Sibi on their way into the event. Joseph-Gordon Levitt, Morgan Freeman, and Gary Oldman were also on hand, as was actress Juno Temple. Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester showed up for the screening but skipped the carpet, while her small-screen costars Michelle Trachtenberg and Penn Badgley both stopped for cameras.

Anne has been on the go promoting her Summer blockbuster ahead of its release this Friday, and to get you ready, we're taking a look back at all The Dark Knight Rises pictures. Anne has made time for her fiancé, Adam Shulman, though, and the duo were spotted showing PDA in Manhattan just last week.

Anne Links Up With Batman Buds Christian and JGL For Christopher Nolan's Handprint Ceremony

Anne Hathaway smiled alongside her The Dark Knight Rises leading men Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt on Saturday while watching their director Christopher Nolan accept an award. Christopher, the director behind the latest Batman series, as well as blockbusters like Inception, was honored with a hand and footprint ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Their third and final Batman movie is out on July 20 — before then, check out all the Dark Knight Rises pictures.

In addition to Anne, Christian, and Joseph, other Dark Knight stars like Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, and Gary Oldman turned out, too. Anne posed next to Christian and happily got a big bear hug from her pal JGL. Michael Caine also has his prints on the sidewalk in LA, and he reflected on Christopher's momentous occasion. Michael said of Christopher Nolan's honor, "You never give [Christopher] any tips. You assume he knows better than you at everything, and he does."

Lawless Trailer: Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy Are Brother Bootleggers

Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy are two of my favorite rough-around-the-edges actors, and in the trailer for Lawless, we get to see them exercise that quality, but in Depression-era garb.

Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy are two of my favorite rough-around-the-edges actors, and in the trailer for Lawless, we get to see them exercise that quality, but in Depression-era garb. LaBeouf and Hardy play the Bondurant brothers, a pair of siblings who make their money during Prohibition by bootlegging alcohol. The illegal activity doesn't just make them profitable, but it also makes them feel untouchable, until two other men threaten their operation — and lives. One of them is Floyd Banner (Gary Oldman), a gangster who wants control of the Bondurants' supply (anyone else getting a major Nucky Thompson vibe from him?), and the other is an authority played by Guy Pearce, who wants to take down the brothers by any means necessary.

The preview for the movie, which is based on the novel The Wettest County in the World, has a lot going on, and looks like it's going to be a bit more violent than I was expecting (I had chills when the machine gun gets brought out). Still, the acting looks like it may be phenomenal from LaBeouf and his costars, who also include Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska. The movie comes out Aug. 31, so watch the preview after the jump.

Victoria Beckham had another evening out on the town in LA yesterday.

Victoria Beckham had another evening out on the town in LA yesterday. She linked up with other Brits on the West Coast for their Consul General’s celebration honoring UK nominees at this year's Academy Awards. Decked out in a dress and belt from her Victoria Beckham Collection, Posh hit the red carpet along with her business partner Simon Fuller. Once inside, she said hello to best actor nominee Gary Oldman, of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, and best supporting actor contender Kenneth Branagh of My Week With Marilyn. Madame Figaro cover girl Victoria Beckham has had a social week in Hollywood. On Thursday, she donned another of her own designs to attend the Eva Longoria Foundation launch with Eva herself and Kate Beckinsale.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy: I Spy a Masterpiece

The fact that Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is a well-crafted mystery that allows you to play detective yourself would be enough for me to say it's good, but the fact that it's so superbly acted makes it great.

The fact that Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is a well-crafted mystery that allows you to play detective yourself would be enough for me to say it's good, but the fact that it's so superbly acted makes it great. In the 1970s-set film, Gary Oldman plays George Smiley, a former intelligence officer who's summoned out of retirement to help root out a mole in Britain's Secret Intelligence Service, AKA "the Circus." Oldman leads an ensemble of incredible actors like Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Mark Strong, Toby Jones, and up-and-comers like Benedict Cumberbatch.

The men play British agents in the Circus devoted to monitoring the intelligence between Russia, Britain, and the US during the Cold War. The agents have a long history of working together, but each one is potentially the double agent working for the Soviets. As Smiley unearths clues to reveal the identity of the mole, the film makes you trust and doubt each of the suspects equally with an absorbing story that's worthy of its fine cast. To find out why I enjoyed the film, just keep reading.

Anne Hathaway was in her skintight costume in LA over the weekend to shoot Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises with Christian Bale. We got the first glimpse of Anne in her elaborate comic book getup last month, and she's been flip-flopping between the sophisticated character of Selina Kyle and her alter ego Catwoman ever since. Anne was without her high-tech, tricked-out Batpod this time, though she did reveal another facet of her costume when she arrived on set modeling a sexy pair of cat ears.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy Trailer: There's a Spy Among Firth, Oldman, Hardy, Strong

It's still Summer, but with a few choice trailers, it feels like we're already getting a taste for what awards season will look like.

It's still Summer, but with a few choice trailers, it feels like we're already getting a taste for what awards season will look like. Case in point: the trailer for Cold War-set Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, which looks seriously fantastic. In the adaptation of the 1979 novel, Gary Oldman stars as principal character George Smiley, a detective who has come out of retirement to sniff out a Russian agent working as a spy within the British Secret Intelligence Service.

From the tense preview, we have a few prime suspects for the mole, including Colin Firth, Tom Hardy (rocking a glorious '70s mane), and frequent villain Mark Strong. That stellar cast plus the intense music and voice-over have me excited for some excellent spy drama come this Thanksgiving. The film will be released Nov. 18, so watch the trailer when you read more

Red Riding Hood: Eat It Up

Why is supernatural romance all the rage these days?

Why is supernatural romance all the rage these days? When you see a movie like Red Riding Hood, a mature take on the classic fairy tale, you understand why. Director Catherine Hardwicke re-imagines the story, jumping off the basic points (young girl in a red cape, bloodthirsty wolf, grandmother in peril) and manipulates it into a sexy mystery that's equally appealing for both the beautiful cast and whodunit plot. Amanda Seyfried stars as the title character, Valerie, with a juicy dilemma: she's in love with poor woodcutter Peter (Shiloh Fernandez) but her hand has been promised to well-off tinsmith Henry (Max Irons).

Romantic entanglements prove to be the least of Valerie's worries, though. A big bad wolf has tormented her village for ages, but when it claims a young victim, the townspeople panic. A famous priest (the incomparable Gary Oldman) visits to help them, bringing a new piece of information — the villagers are actually being hunted by a werewolf. The witch hunt that follows is distressing for everyone, but it's worse for Valerie as she wonders if her smokin' hot lover Peter could be the wolf everyone fears. Hardwicke manages to draw out the satisfying puzzle while seducing the audience, making Red Riding Hood a deliciously guilty pleasure.

Red Carpet

Amanda Seyfried and Catherine Hardwicke Talk Fairy Tales and Twilight at the Red Riding Hood Premiere

Amanda Seyfried chose purple Lanvin for the premiere of her dark new film Red Riding Hood at Mann's Chinese Theater last night in LA.

Amanda Seyfried chose purple Lanvin for the premiere of her dark new film Red Riding Hood at Mann's Chinese Theater last night in LA. The debut also drew Breaking Dawn's Nikki Reed and American Idol's final 13. Elle cover girl Amanda wasn't with her real-life love, Ryan Phillippe, on the red carpet. Instead, she posed with her two sexy leading men, Shiloh Fernandez and former model Max Irons. The spin on the classic fairy tale was helmed by Twilight's Catherine Hardwicke, who years ago chose Shiloh as a finalist for the part of Edward Cullen. The actor said it took three auditions before Catherine finally cast him in one of her movies, but that it was worth the wait. Catherine, meanwhile, told us Amanda was the perfect pick for the part of Red. The director also talked about her former leading lady, Kristen Stewart, who is starring in another adaptation of a Brothers Grimm tale — Snow White. She revealed that Kristen will kick ass in the role, which makes the heroine less of a damsel in distress than past versions. Check out today's PopSugar Rush for even more from our interviews with Catherine and the cast!
