Cameron Diaz, dressed in a sexy black and white design from Stella McCartney, hit the red carpet at tonight's London premiere of Gambit. Prior to the screening, she met up with costars Colin Firth, Alan Rickman, and Tom Courtenay to pose for photos. Cameron's been making the press rounds on behalf of the film in recent days and even landed the December cover of Elle UK. She opened up to the publication about her career, sex, and her forthcoming health and fitness book. Cameron shared why she strives to maintain her sleek frame and what she'd be doing if she wasn't an actress. Colin and Cameron's comedy caper flick hits UK theaters Nov. 19, but no official release date has been set for the States.

Gambit Trailer: Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz Get Involved in an Art Caper

Though Colin Firth usually has the Midas touch when it comes to picking projects, I'm not sure that applies to Gambit, which looks like a wacky mashup of heist movie elements.

Though Colin Firth usually has the Midas touch when it comes to picking projects, I'm not sure that applies to Gambit, which looks like a wacky mashup of heist movie elements. He stars as Harry Deane, an employee who's grown tired of his filthy-rich boss (played by Alan Rickman), so he schemes against him, attempting to fool him into buying a fake Monet. For this he needs the help of rodeo queen PJ Puznowski (Cameron Diaz) to get his hands on the painting, and predictably, everything seems to go wrong, especially since PJ is looking out for herself (a girl's gotta keep herself in sparkly Western wear, after all).

I can't say that Gambit looks that great from the trailer — Cameron Diaz's Southern accent had me instantly cringing — but that's not to say it doesn't look fun. Firth walks around in his underwear while Rickman swans around his office in pretty much nothing at all, but despite those mildly funny bits (and the fact that it was written by the Coen brothers), the movie still comes off as a generic caper film full of clichés we've seen before. Gambit comes out Nov. 21, but you can watch the trailer and judge for yourself after the jump.

Cameron Diaz and Colin Firth were together in London today to shoot their remake of Gambit. She was on a break from filming in order to promote Bad Teacher in recent weeks, including a recent jaunt to Mexico for the Cancun Film Festival. She also swung through Europe twice on a press tour, including a stop at Spain's El Hormiguero. Colin, meanwhile, made the social rounds in London with his eco-activist wife, Livia, including a royal reception for the visiting Obamas and the ARK dinner with Prince William and Kate Middleton. He'll have some promoting to do ahead of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy's November release, while next up for Cameron is another stint on set making What to Expect When You're Expecting with leading ladies Brooklyn Decker and Jennifer Lopez.

Cameron Diaz was decked out in her Western wear this morning to continue filming Gambit in London with her leading man Colin Firth. We had a glimpse of Cameron Diaz's long legs on set just a few days ago, but this time she was showing considerably less skin in a long pair of jeans. Cameron has been abroad working on the Coen brothers-penned project for the last few weeks. Colin, though, popped up in NYC at the beginning of the month to attend the Costume Institute Gala, which he co-chaired along with fellow Brits Anna Wintour and Stella McCartney. Cameron will make a similar trek back to US in order to promote her next film hitting the big screen, Bad Teacher. We're giving away a chance for her biggest fan to meet and interview her ahead of the LA premiere — make sure to enter our contest to meet Cameron Diaz!

Cameron Diaz Flaunts Her Long Legs on the Gambit Set With Colin Firth

Cameron Diaz was in her Gambit costume yesterday to film a scene at the London Airport with her costar Colin Firth.

Cameron Diaz was in her Gambit costume yesterday to film a scene at the London Airport with her costar Colin Firth. We had a first look at Cameron and Colin in Gambit just yesterday, and it appears the actress has to wear a variety of out-there costumes in their remake of the 1966 Michael Caine classic. Cameron's legs were once again on prominent display, just as they were while she filmed Bad Teacher last year. We know the actress logs long hours at the gym after seeing photos of Cameron and her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, working out together and even tossing around tires during an outdoor exercise session a few months ago. Alex is currently back in the US, focusing on his fitness and Yankees season, with a final game in Tampa Bay tonight before heading to Baltimore tomorrow. Cameron will head back to America herself in the coming weeks to tend to press duties for Bad Teacher, and production on her current movie will also have her in New Mexico over the Summer.

Cameron Diaz and Colin Firth reunited on the London set of Gambit today. He's home in England after cochairing Monday's Costume Institute Gala alongside Stella McCartney and Vogue boss Anna Wintour. His wife, Livia, shared some good insider snaps from the ladies' room on her Twitter account and also gave British Vogue a behind-the-scenes look at how she and Stella created the ultimate eco look for the bash. Cameron skipped the Met Ball red carpet, but she still seems to be everywhere these days. Her promotional efforts for Bad Teacher have begun, and she's on the cover of magazines ranging from Elle UK to Cosmopolitan. There are even sexy photos of Cameron Diaz in Maxim. She was covered up for her day on the chilly English set, though, and was spotted leaving her trailer in a pair of Uggs.

Comic-Con Surprise — Hugh Jackman Shows Up With Wolverine Footage!

Ho-ly smokes, people, this has been a ridiculously exciting day.

Ho-ly smokes, people, this has been a ridiculously exciting day. More on the Max Payne and The Day the Earth Stood Still panels later — it's what immediately followed the Max Payne panel that is blowing my dome right now!

As soon as the panel was over, Hugh Jackman — looking freaking fine — appeared onstage and the crowd. Went. Wild. First off, as I said, he looked amazing. He's got some long-ish wavy locks, a lovely tan and distractingly shapely arms. Anyway, he started off (in his adorable Australian accent) thanking the fans of comic book movies, without whom, he thinks he would not have a career (ha!). Then, he bounded down the steps (amid super high-pitched screaming from attendees, many of whom have gotten to the hall early so they could get good seats for the Twilight panel later today) to shake the hand of Len Wein, the person credited with co-creating the character of Wolverine. It was a really inspiring moment, actually. Jackman leaned over a bunch of people and shook Wein's hand.

There was another little speech from Jackman about the next X-Men movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and then — roll footage! We were treated to a bunch of scenes from this Wolverine movie, which isn't due in theaters until May 9, 2009. But from what we saw — so far, so awesome.
