Freakiest Moments From Fringe, "Subject 9"

Fringe Recap, "Subject 9"

Friday night's episode of Fringe is arguably the best yet from season four. Not only do we see Walter's decline into madness and his attempt at redemption, but we're finally getting somewhere with this whole "Where Is Peter Bishop" business. On the downside, my new favorite character, Lincoln Lee, is totally MIA this episode, but there's plenty to sink your teeth in to. Talk about your favorite moments in the comments, and check out a few of ours in the slideshow.

Joshua Jackson Makes Time For Tea While Filming Fringe

Joshua Jackson held a teapot during a break from filming Fringe in Vancouver yesterday.

Joshua Jackson held a teapot during a break from filming Fringe in Vancouver yesterday. He was back on set after spending time with girlfriend Diane Kruger earlier this week. Diane arrived in Canada on Monday, which was the country's Thanksgiving Day. The couple were spotted walking around downtown and sharing sweet PDA as they often do during their romantic outings. While Joshua gets back to work on his small screen hit, Diane has multiple movie projects lined up. She's currently shooting Fly Me to the Moon and is also prepping for the European release of Special Forces next month.

Fringe Recap "Alone in the World"

Good news Fringe fans — this season is shaping up to be the best yet. Not only have the past two episodes blended everything we've been missing (and loving) about this series all Summer — weird cases, alternate universes, and "Walterisms" — but now we finally get to see what happens when we ask the question" "Where is Peter Bishop?"

This week's episode of Fringe brings the goods — hilarious lines from Walter, a comeback by Massive Dynamic, and one shocking scene to end them all. Take a look back at our favorite moments from "Alone in the World."

Joshua Jackson Focuses on Fringe and a Phone Call

Joshua Jackson was on the set of Fringe yesterday in Vancouver, where he was seen chatting on a cell phone for a scene.

Joshua Jackson was on the set of Fringe yesterday in Vancouver, where he was seen chatting on a cell phone for a scene. Fringe's fourth-season premiere aired on Sept. 23, and he's been at work taping upcoming episodes of the sci-fi series since late August. Joshua's girlfriend, Diane Kruger, has spent some time with him up North, though the couple is used to making their long-distance romance work. They often travel together when they both have time off and are frequent fixtures on the fashion circuit, but neither of them has been in attendance for Paris Fashion Week, which wraps up today. Diane did make a solo trip to Europe at the start of September for the Venice Film Festival while Joshua devoted himself to his TV duties. The actress attended The Ides of March premiere, where she stole the spotlight in a showstopping Elie Saab gown, and was also one of several celebrities at the festival's opening dinner.

Best Moments From Fringe, "One Night in October"

Fringe is off to an amazing start!

Fringe is off to an amazing start! Last week we were introduced to a new (hot and geeky) Lincoln Lee, and this week we see a collaboration between the two Fringe Division teams on a case, forcing Olivia to work side by side (well, sort of) with Fauxlivia to solve a mysterious crime.

I'm recapping my favorite moments in the slideshow — won't you join me?

Italian designers are known for their glitz and glamour, and Spring 2012 was no exception. From luxe bohemian outfits, to a styled ode to the roaring '20s, Milan Fashion Week debuted gorgeous fringe-trimmed ensembles for next season. Versus and Roberto Cavalli even offered a less literal approach to the trend via car wash pleat skirts and silk paneled gowns. Fringe Season 4 Premiere Recap: "Neither Here Nor There"

Friday night welcomed the return of Fringe, but things just aren't right now that we're back in season four.

Friday night welcomed the return of Fringe, but things just aren't right now that we're back in season four. Last season left us with the realization that Peter Bishop had been erased from everyone's memories (because he had been erased from time), but as we see in the premiere episode, he has left an imprint on time. Walter knows something is off, and you can feel it in the episode yourself. Something is totally off.

Good news is Fringe is getting back to its roots with the creepy and freaky cases that we've all been craving (that translucent man is straight out of season one!). Season three was so bogged down by the alternate universe story line that I felt like it was becoming a totally different show. Not so, says the premiere episode. I'll recap my favorite things about "Neither Here Nor There" in the slideshow, but be sure to chime in with your thoughts on the episode in the comments!

Tips For Throwing a Fringe Premiere Party, Walter Bishop Style

Fridays will finally be back to normal with the season four premiere of Fringe tomorrow night at 9 p.m.!

Fridays will finally be back to normal with the season four premiere of Fringe tomorrow night at 9 p.m.! If you've been waiting all Summer to see what the heck happened to Peter Bishop, gather a few fellow sci-fi nerds and plan on making a night of it with your own premiere party. And since Walter Bishop is arguably everyone's favorite character, why not theme things out in his honor? Below, a few tips to throwing your own Walter Bishop-themed Fringe fete.

  • Dress the part — Encourage guests to wear their favorite long and oversize cardigans, which is a staple in Walter's wardrobe.
  • Prepare a candy bar — In honor of Walter's sweet tooth, set up a candy bar so guests can graze. Stock the bar full of Red Vines, cotton candy (blue, not pink), and pudding pops, which are some of Walter's favorites. The bar can come complete with a cocktail of jelly bean "medications" in tiny water cups to replicate Walter's med schedule while he was at St. Claire's.
  • Sweet and bubbly drinks — Walter loves root beer floats, and I don't blame him. The combo of root beer and vanilla ice cream can keep all your Fringe fanatics happy. Take things a step further and serve them up in lab beakers!
  • Blueberry Pancakes FTW — Give your guests a break from all the sweet treats by providing them with homemade blueberry pancakes. They're not just for breakfast anymore.
  • Play Walter Bishop-Themed Games — Walter is the perfect target for an adult-drinking game. Air a few episodes in the background while guests are getting settled, and every time Walter mispronounces Astrid's name, drink! Serve shots in test tubes and small volumetric flasks if you can get your hands on them. Or, you could collect some interesting facts from the Fringe Wiki and play a round of Walter Bishop Trivia after the show ends.

Joshua Jackson Forges Forward With Season Four of Fringe

Joshua Jackson Shoots Fringe in Vancouver Pictures

Joshua Jackson was on the set of Fringe in Vancouver yesterday filming scenes for the new season. The show returns Sept. 23, and from the recently released trailer, it seems fans may find themselves asking the question, "Where is Peter Bishop?" Away from the cameras, Josh has been hanging with his long-time love, Diane Kruger. They've been jetting between their homes in North America and Europe all Summer, but for now, Josh is tied to his work in Canada while Diane's traveling around the globe. Diane went to the Venice Film Festival a few weeks ago, and hopefully we'll see her in the front row when Fashion Week moves to Paris Oct. 1.

New Fringe Trailer Asks "Where Is Peter Bishop?"

Fringe is easily one of the most intriguing sci-fi shows on TV and always seems to keep us on the edge of our seats every week.

Fringe is easily one of the most intriguing sci-fi shows on TV and always seems to keep us on the edge of our seats every week. A new teaser trailer for the season four premiere (which hits Fox on Fri. Sept. 23) focuses on Olivia and Peter. Olivia is talking to an unknown man about how lonely she is. Surely, this season will be filled with mystery as usual, but it already appears to be much more emotional than seasons past. Check out the trailer and tell us — are you excited for season four?
