Are You Satisifed With The Office Series Finale?

After nine seasons at Dunder Mifflin, The Office ended this week with a series finale that was sentimental, tidy, and funny. It picked up one year after last week's episode, and some of the employees had moved on from the office, like Stanley and Kevin, while Jim and Pam were planning their next move. Beloved characters who had left the series came back for cameos, like Kelly and Ryan, but it was the return of Michael Scott that was the best, most moving surprise. I don't even care that the show creators denied it for so long — in Jim's words, it was the best prank ever. From there, the episode piled on the emotion, from Dwight and Angela's wedding to yet another great Jim and Pam moment and an amazing party scene in the office itself. I thought it was the perfect way to close out The Office, but I want to know what you think: did the finale leave you satisfied?

Are You Ready to See Nick and Jess as a Couple?

It finally happened — after an epic kiss, random makeouts, and many scenes of sexual tension, New Girl's Nick and Jess finally sealed the deal and hopped into bed together this week.

It finally happened — after an epic kiss, random makeouts, and many scenes of sexual tension, New Girl's Nick and Jess finally sealed the deal and hopped into bed together this week. We have to wait until next week to find out exactly what this means for their relationship, but I think we can assume that it won't be treated as a meaningless hookup. They clearly have strong feelings for each other, and by the looks of the season finale pictures, Nick and Jess may be giving a real relationship a shot. It's only the end of season two, but I'm done with all the will-they-or-won't-they moments and want them to be a real couple. I have faith that they'll still be as funny and awkward as ever, but I can understand if others aren't ready for them to have a full-blown relationship. What's your opinion — is it time for Nick and Jess to be together or not?

This May, there are too many buzz-worthy new releases to count on one hand. Action franchise giants Iron Man, Star Trek, and Fast & Furious all have new installments coming out, and I've been looking forward to some of the smaller movies — like indie The Kings of Summer — for months. Which are you most excited to see?

Will You Watch The Vampire Diaries Spinoff?

Last week's episode of The Vampire Diaries focuses more on Klaus and his family than usual for a reason: the episode also serves as a pilot for the spinoff show, The Originals. The series has already been picked up for a full season, which is a big vote of confidence for the new show, but I'd like to know what you think of the spinoff now that we've seen the first episode. Personally, I like the New Orleans setting and the focus on Klaus and his siblings, but I have mixed feelings about the other characters we met, like Marcel and Sophie. What's your take — will you keep watching the show when it starts airing this Fall?

Rebel Wilson as MTV Movie Awards Host — Awesome or Awful?

Rebel Wilson hit the stage as this year's MTV Movie Awards host, and putting it lightly, she was pretty controversial.

Rebel Wilson hit the stage as this year's MTV Movie Awards host, and putting it lightly, she was pretty controversial. There was no shortage of self-deprecating jokes from the Australian comic, who commented quite a bit about her own body, and she also didn't lack in crude physical comedy (including a wardrobe malfunction that exposed her third nipple).

Then again, maybe my hopes were just too high, since she was so hilarious in both Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids. Wilson did sing, dance, and strut around the stage like she owned it, which I admire in a first-time host. Was it too much for you, or just right? What did you think of Wilson, and would you want her back next year?

The Voice: What Do You Think of Usher and Shakira?

The Voice returned to NBC this week, with a couple of new butts in those red rotating chairs.

The Voice returned to NBC this week, with a couple of new butts in those red rotating chairs. Usher and Shakira are currently replacing Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera, giving the musical competition an interesting new twist. Usher — who already has his own signature sitting position — tried to woo contestants to his team with slick lines (and the casual Justin Bieber mention). Shakira tried to represent the ladies as best she could, gushing about her passion for various contestants and even whipping out a Southern accent to land a country singer.

Even if you prefer the old coaches, it's still fun to get some new banter combinations in there: Adam Levine teased Shakira for not being American, and pretty much everyone had to acknowledge the fact that Usher might know more about the star-making business than anyone. We'll have to wait and see how they fare as coaches, but what do you think of Usher and Shakira so far?

Are You Sick of Seeing Ryan Gosling in Movies?

Ryan Gosling is set to direct his first film, How to Catch a Monster, and in a recent interview, he sounded excited that his role will be behind the camera instead of in front of it.

Ryan Gosling is set to direct his first film, How to Catch a Monster, and in a recent interview, he sounded excited that his role will be behind the camera instead of in front of it. Of acting, he told the AP: "I've been doing it too much. I've lost perspective on what I'm doing. I think it's good for me to take a break and reassess why I'm doing it and how I'm doing it. And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does."

Gosling's need for a breather is understandable, but I don't agree that I need a break from him. He has a few movies out this year (including this month's The Place Beyond the Pines), but he didn't appear in any films in 2012. In fact, I would actually like to see more of the versatile actor, and I have an inkling his other fans feel the same. Could you use a break from him?
