Emily VanCamp has a new TV series debuting tonight on ABC, the soapy but instantly addictive drama Revenge. In it, her character Amanda (a girl known in flashbacks as Emily) exacts a plan of vengeance on a group of people who ruined her father's life. I sat down with the actress to chat about how her character will be taking pleasure in wreaking havoc on the people who did her wrong, her multiple love interests, and how she hopes people will still root for her anyway.
Hayden Panettiere was back in activist mode last night to host a bash for Declare Yourself. The event brought out stars like Emily VanCamp, Zachary Quinto, and Danity Kane, but it looks like Jessica Alba and her slightly scary PSA skipped this one in favor of bikini time. Hayden took the stage to make a speech, though she was more low-key when asked who she'll be casting her ballot for on Nov. 5. She simply said, "I'm a Democrat, so . . . " The election is only a little more than a month away, but while we're waiting to change the world, we can watch Hayden's alter ego doing her part on Heroes, which is one of our 15 shows to watch now.

Last Spring, we did some talking 'round here about the Justin and Rebecca situation on Brothers and Sisters, and it looks like those of us who were a little uneasy seeing the two of them together will have lots of chances to get used to it in the coming season. From the looks of things in this ABC promo, the two are definitely more than just ex-brother-and-sister when the show's third season premieres Sept. 28.
Of course, we know promos can be misleading, so take what you see in this one with a grain of salt. But in general, things appear to be mostly the same as ever for the Walker clan. And I'm not saying that's a bad thing, because for this huge and dysfunctional family, that means a lot of fights, awkward family dinners, occasional romantic interludes, and a whole lot of lies that always come out in the worst possible ways. "Certain members of this family are keeping all kinds of secrets," Calista Flockhart's Kitty exclaims in the promo — and I wouldn't want it any other way.

There's no denying that Brothers and Sisters' Justin and Rebecca would make a cute couple — except for that thing where they're, well, brother and sister. Or are they? B and S has spent much of this Spring wading into issues of questionable paternity, sexual tension, and generally icky situations between the youngest Walker and the girl we've always thought was his half-sister. And now, after a couple of episodes where the Justin/Rebecca tension hit an all-time high, I'm wondering how you're all feeling.
