Stars of Twilight and True Blood Go For the Golden Globes

Anna Kendrick teamed up with her New Moon costar Kellan Lutz last night for the second annual Golden Globes Salute to Young Hollywood Party.

Anna Kendrick teamed up with her New Moon costar Kellan Lutz last night for the second annual Golden Globes Salute to Young Hollywood Party. Your favorite rising star of 2009 was fresh off an appearance on The Late Show to promote Up in the Air, while Kellan took the evening off from hanging out with his new pup Kevin. Kellan had a little vampire competition on the red carpet, in the form of True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard. His usual companion, girlfriend Kate Bosworth, wasn't there, but they were together Monday for a bash at the Chateau Marmont.

Also representing the undead crew were The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, who stayed close to pals Chris Klein and James Van Der Beek throughout the night. Emmanuelle Chriqui was decked out for the bash, as were Jordana Brewster and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Ashley Tisdale mingled with fellow blonde Brittany Snow, while Olivia Wilde made the rounds with her husband Tao.

Anna, Stephen, and Stars of the Small Screen Party For Nylon

Starlets were out in force last night to celebrate Nylon's special TV issue.

Starlets were out in force last night to celebrate Nylon's special TV issue. 90210's AnnaLynne McCord and Shenae Grimes posed on the carpet, as did Melrose Place's Jenna Dewan. Anna Paquin is the magazine's cover girl, and she was the center of attention as she chatted with her fiance and True Blood costar Stephen Moyer. While his next project is the vampire movie Priest with Cam Gigandet, Stephen and Anna gave an interview appearing in the upcoming issue about their HBO show and their views on nudity and sex. Here's more:

  • Anna on her nude True Blood scenes: "I don’t think a naked body is particularly shocking or interesting. . . . It’s not the culture I was raised in. I was not brought up in the United States. I don’t share the [attitude] that you can have graphic violence, but — God forbid — you see someone’s nipples."
  • Anna on going blonde for her role: "I don’t look like a Barbie doll, and probably never will. People are incredibly literal in how they view you. You have dark hair and pale skin? You must be brooding. The second you dye your hair blonde and get a spray tan, people treat you as if you’re a bit stupider and happier. Suddenly, it’s like you’re hot and sexy."

Kellan Takes Twilight Down Under

What better way to end another week than with some Twilight hotness to take us through the weekend?

What better way to end another week than with some Twilight hotness to take us through the weekend? Kellan Lutz looked adorable standing in front of Robert Pattinson's likeness as he and costar Edi Gathegi promoted the franchise in Sydney earlier today. While Rob, Kristen, and Taylor have been giving us details about what we can expect from New Moon, Kellan is doing his part to feed the craze overseas. He's also in talks to star in the Nightmare on Elm Street remake, but for now Kellan's doing a fine job portraying a sexy vampire.

House Rundown: Episode 4, "Guardian Angels"

Sometimes, I think that the House writers invented this whole auditioning-for-the-new-team plotline so they could poke fun at reality television.

Sometimes, I think that the House writers invented this whole auditioning-for-the-new-team plotline so they could poke fun at reality television. A couple of weeks ago, we got a Survivor-style tribal council; this week, it was a Bachelor-esque rose ceremony. Maybe next week, we'll be able to call or text in support of our favorite candidates? This week, we learned a bit more about our remaining doc-testants, saw a little more of Cameron and a lot more of Foreman, and watched House get punched. Aw, yeah. Five New Doctors are in the "House"

Remember how I told you a while back that "House" could be getting a quartet of new underlings?

Remember how I told you a while back that "House" could be getting a quartet of new underlings? Make that a quintet. Five new doctors will join the Princeton-Plainsboro staff in the fall — though it's not been revealed how long they'll each be sticking around.

Headlining the new additions are Olivia Wilde of "The OC" and "The Black Donnellys" and Kal Penn of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle and The Namesake. Wilde is set to play a doctor named Thirteen — a name I assume must have been chosen just because it would rankle House so much. Penn and the three other new additions — Peter Jacobson (Kenny from "The Starter Wife"), Edi Gathegi ("Lincoln Heights") and Anne Dudek ("Big Day") — are expected to play candidates for a fellowship with House.

It should be interesting to watch House react to a new pretty young thing, but I do wonder how long it will be before Chase, Foreman and Cameron return. E! says the newbies will be around for at least eight episodes, while Fox says the the number is undetermined. Will this make for a "House" that's too crowded?
