Easy A Style: Olive
Just because you're serving detention, doesn't mean you can't look cute. Olive (played by Emma Stone) proves just that as she cleans graffiti off a bathroom stall. If you're ever required to do the same, skinny jeans, a simple camisole, and a cool, black vest will work just fine.

Easy A Style: Olive
While walking the grounds of her high school, Olive (played by Emma Stone) kept things casual in the wardrobe department. For this scene she chose a simple black tank, skinny jeans, and a few gold accessories. A gray bag balances it all out. Shop Olive's key pieces to go back to school in style.

Which New Movie Will You See This Weekend — Easy A, The Town, Never Let Me Go, or Devil?
It's a big weekend for brand-new movies opening at the box office. Emma Stone and Penn Badgley are front and center in their charming project Easy A, while Ben Affleck is back in the director's chair for the enjoyable but gritty drama The Town. Carey Mulligan, meanwhile, gives another strong performance in Never Let Me Go with Keira Knightley, and M. Night Shyamalan put on his producer hat for the horror flick Devil. So, tell us — which new movie will you see?

Did You Have a "Reputation" in High School?
I've tried to forget the sexual shaming that went down in high school. Unfortunately most graduates of an American high school can recall girls being labeled "sluts" just because they made out with a couple different guys during the course of a semester. Or football players who taunted a girl on Monday after she hooked up with one of their friends after Friday's game.
Easy A, out today, turns this teen meanness on its head. In the modern-day Scarlet Letter, Emma Stone's character has some fun pretending to be the school slut.
Many of you say you became sexually active as a teen, but did you suffer a bad reputation for it?
Easy A: Gets High Marks in Charm
In Easy A, our heroine Olive Pendergast says she wants her life to be like a John Hughes movie. It's a lofty aspiration considering Hughes's reputation as the teen movie master, but it's one that the film unapologetically strives for with a playful wink. You have the alluring love interest à la Sixteen Candles (played here by Penn Badgley), Ferris Bueller-inspired shower karaoke, and a witty red-headed leading lady who is seemingly oblivious to her own coolness.

Emma Stone plays Olive, a teen homebody who's mistakenly branded as the school's own Hester Prynne after lying to her BFF (Aly Michalka) about losing her virginity. When the self-righteous religious club leader (Amanda Bynes) overhears, it's not long before everyone knows about Olive's supposed fling. Enter Brandon (Cougar Town's Dan Byrd), a bullied closeted gay student. Olive pretends to have sex with him to help his reputation, and she becomes the Mother Teresa of social outcasts, offering imaginary makeouts and boob fondling to help geeks up their popularity. When her charade spirals out of control, she's left without friends. To find out why I loved it, read more
Emma, Taylor, and Penn Take It Easy on the Red Carpet
Emma Stone had the support of friend Taylor Swift on the red carpet at last night's premiere of Easy A in LA. The pals were both at the VMAs on Sunday, where Taylor performed her Kanye West song to mixed reviews, and Emma was one of the best dressed in a leather LBD. The release of Emma's fun Fall film is just one piece of her busy year as a hot young Hollywood star — she filmed with Ryan Gosling and is adding Friends With Benefits to her list of upcoming projects. Her costar Penn Badgley stepped out as Gossip Girl returned to the small screen with a season premiere episode full of OMG moments.
