This is one of Rebecca Bloomwood's more eclectic outfits, and as such, most of it is not available online. Here's a breakdown of what she's actually wearing: sweater from Gap, skirt and coat by Prada, with Dior shoes and a patent Ferragamo bag. The Ltd Fornarina pumps and Miu Miu bag are almost an exact match, but beyond that, shop a similar look.

Her dress here, was custom made for the movie, but the Sophie Theallet number is similar. Pair it with a leopard print shrug and pink Manolo Blahniks for a more authentic Bloomwood look.

Isla Fisher Doesn't Open Up Much About Motherhood

Isla Fisher's willing to confess things about her much anticipated movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic, which opened today, but she keeps mum about motherhood.

Isla Fisher's willing to confess things about her much anticipated movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic, which opened today, but she keeps mum about motherhood. At least when it comes to the press. At a recent junket for her latest release, when asked if she had read the book the movie was based on and how she balances the challenges of motherhood and career, the actress said:

Motherhood is my favorite topic in my personal life, but I don’t discuss it professionally just because I want my daughter to have privacy and a normal life. Yes, I was a huge fan of the books. I had read them all long before I heard about the project, and when I heard about the project and that Jerry Bruckheimer was producing it, obviously who I was a huge fan of, I didn’t think in my wildest dreams, that I would even get a meeting, let alone get the role. I literally still cannot believe I got the role. It’s very exciting for me.

I Want This Wardrobe: Confessions of a Shopaholic, Rebecca Bloomwood

Confessions of a Shopaholic just opened today — yay!

Confessions of a Shopaholic just opened today — yay! As expected, the outfits were eclectic, exciting, and totally fabulous. In this particular scene — don't worry, no spoilers — Rebecca Bloomwood, aka Isla Fisher, showed off her appetite for delicious color. Her purple Lanvin confection is beyond sassy. I like how she added a kitschy touch to her ensemble by pairing it with light lavender fishnet tights. Yummy.

Who's Right About Office Love: Isla Fisher or Hugh Dancy?

The much buzzed about Confessions of a Shopaholic comes out tonight and I can't wait to get my cute movie fix.

The much buzzed about Confessions of a Shopaholic comes out tonight and I can't wait to get my cute movie fix. Isla Fisher plays the movie's heroine, Rebecca Bloomwood, while Hugh Dancy plays Rebecca's boss and love interest. There's lots of scripted chemistry, but the costars' off-screen characters seemed divided in their opinions of workplace romance when they were asked about the issue while promoting their film.

Isla's take on office love:

I think it works out very well for Rebecca Bloomwood in the story because Luke Brandon actually uncovers her voice and helps her to fulfill her . . . Personally, I’m not a fan of romance in the workplace because, you know, you start seeing someone everyday.

Hugh's take:

Work-based romance? As long as it’s legal, I think it’s okay. . . We’ve all had our own share of work-based romance I expect. I think as long as there’s actually some romance in it, as long as that’s not just a euphemism for something else entirely, it’s probably a good thing.

Confessions of a Shopaholic: Worth Every Penny

The irony of releasing a movie about shopping right as the nation's economy is flailing is not lost on many.

The irony of releasing a movie about shopping right as the nation's economy is flailing is not lost on many. Confessions of a Shopaholic could have probably gone in one of two ways: Exacerbating the general sense of frustration and helplessness, or providing us with a fun, satisfying escapist's jaunt. Thankfully, it's pure escapism — and not just because of the script, which is surprisingly tight, or the editing which makes the narrative clip along briskly, rarely dwelling in sentimentality. No, this movie is wonderful, happy escapism largely because of Isla Fisher in the role of Becky Bloomwood: Bumbling, adorable, joyous shopper extraordinaire.

Fisher plays Rebecca Bloomwood, a journalist with an intense shopping habit. Like a drug addict or alcoholic, she literally appears to have no restraint when it comes to spending money — even when she is thousands of dollars in debt. Her practical friend Suze (Krysten Ritter) tries to help her rethink her financial situation, but Becky's addiction runs deep and it's going to take a great deal to make her hit rock bottom. The stakes are raised when Becky ends up working at a financial magazine — with a dashing cutie of a boss, Luke (Hugh Dancy) — and receives acclaim for being able to explain money matters in layman's terms. But as she gains more fame, an ornery debt collector (Robert Stanton) is hot on her trail, harassing her about her debts and posing a threat to her new image as a sensible financial writer. You'll have to see the film (and I hope you do!) for all of the funny storylines, but for more of my take, read more

Confessions of a Styleaholic, Part II

You ready for more?

You ready for more? I've already heard accolades about Confessions of a Shopaholic — out this Friday. I hope you read the first part of my interview with costume designer Patricia Field, and here's more!

Before we begin, want to know how Isla felt about working with the flame-haired stylist? At a press conference she dished: "Patricia was extremely collaborative, and I only had one request, which was that I wanted Becky to wear extremely high heels so she could totter. I think there’s nothing funnier than a comedic character tottering and the impracticality of wearing something that clearly doesn’t fit her and is uncomfortable but she’s a shopaholic so she has to have it. And Patricia really is so creative, and she clearly knows what she’s talking about. She’s extremely experienced. So I, I kind of let go and let her guide me, and I really enjoyed the process. At the beginning I couldn’t believe we were spending 40 minutes discussing a belt. I was so frustrated. But halfway through I just felt like I began to understand that there really is sort of a science to it. It is this incredible world of people trying really hard." Read on for more juice about the styling of the movie, Patricia on Isla, and some of the best quotes yet . . .

What are Rebecca Bloomwood’s favorite stores to shop at?

"The designer stores but also downtown in small vintage shops. Uptown, downtown. She shops everywhere. She goes to the airport and shops in the duty-free. Every opportunity she gets."

What was it like working with Isla?

"Isla was fun because she got it and she likes clothes. She looks good in clothes; she got it intellectually. She understood it; she was great to work with. I can’t do it unless we understand each other. It’s definitely a dance. With Isla it was immediate. She was very involved. That’s very important for me. I’m dressing a person, not a mannequin."
