It's that time again! The changing of the seasons to Spring means it's time for another of my reading lists. I have 15 books — classic and contemporary — that are in the process of being adapted into movies. Check out the literary offerings that I've compiled, and see the stars who are already lined up to bring the pages to life.
Brad Pitt Heads Back to Work Following a Weekend With Angelina and the Kids
Brad Pitt was back in character this morning sporting the slicked-back hair and dyed goatee we've become accustomed to seeing on the New Orleans set of Cogan's Trade. Over the weekend Angelina Jolie and all six children arrived in the Big Easy to spend time at their Louisiana home. Brad's been flying solo on location for the past few weeks, but everyone was together yesterday on a fun family stroll to pick up tons of snacks at a convenience store. It was a rare sighting of all eight Jolie-Pitts together, including the twins who were all dressed up, and perhaps we'll be seeing more of the crew as they set up shop in Louisiana!
Brad Pitt Works Away His New Orleans Afternoon
Brad Pitt fueled up with coffee today between scenes on the New Orleans set of Cogan's Trade. He left LA and headed to the Southern location over a week ago and has since been spotted shooting with costar Richard Jenkins. The Louisiana-based production gives Brad a chance to be in one of his favorite cities, also affording him the opportunity to check in on how his Make It Right foundation is faring. Brad's current project won't hit big screens until next year, but his Moneyball, which he filmed last Summer in Northern California, will be out in September.
Brad Pitt Lights Up the Set With a Sexy Smolder
Brad Pitt worked late into the night yesterday on the set of Cogan's Trade in New Orleans. He's been shooting inside a car for the past few days and for his latest scenes the actor stepped out of his black vehicle and lit up another cigarette. The majority of you aren't into Brad's slicked back hair and dyed goatee, but we'll see more of his cleanly shaven face soon in Terrence Malick's Tree of Life and later this Summer in the baseball flick Moneyball.
Brad Pitt Is Wheeling, Dealing, and Smiling in the Big Easy
Brad Pitt smiled between takes on the set of Cogan's Trade in New Orleans yesterday. Most of you think that Brad is not at his absolute sexiest for this role, which predominantly features his tinted goatee, while guys around the world still consider themselves to be the actor's spitting image. The city is like home to Brad and his family, though this week he steered clear of the Mardi Gras festivities and stuck to work filming his movie. Angelina Jolie and their six kids have yet to be spotted in Louisiana, where they have a house and have spent a lot of time. Angelina has a handful of her own projects in the works, but she is apparently leaving another franchise behind. The Tomb Raider series is continuing with a prequel and they're working on casting a younger version of sexy badass Lara Croft.
Video: Did Brad Pitt Dye His Goatee?
Brad Pitt showed off what looks like a darker goatee while starting work on his new heist movie, Cogan's Trade in New Orleans this week. The actor is no stranger to the Big Easy; he owns a house there with Angelina Jolie, and the city is also home to his Make It Right project, which helps rebuild homes in the lower ninth ward after Katrina. Check out Brad on set!
Brad Pitt Steers Clear of the Mardi Gras Parties to Focus on Work
Brad Pitt was behind the wheel on the set of Cogan's Trade in New Orleans yesterday. He started shooting the movie earlier this week with his slicked back hair and trimmed goatee, though you all seem to prefer a more cleaned up look on the actor. Brad's playing the lead role and acting as a producer on the heist film, a double duty he also pulled on his recent The Tree of Life. He's focused on his latest project enough to skip the nearby Mardi Gras festivities, though Angelina Jolie and his daughter Zahara have participated in the festivities in years past.
Brad Pitt Rocks His Slicked-Back Hair and Goatee on Set — Hot Stuff or Not My Thing?

Brad Pitt was back on the New Orleans set of Cogan's Trade this afternoon with his costar Richard Jenkins. He also logged some time before the cameras yesterday, when he debuted his slicked-back hair and goatee combo. Brad's good looks are apparently rivaled by men around the world, and his facial hair has been a focal point before and he, in fact, shaved it for his last role in Moneyball. Angelina Jolie, meanwhile, is apparently letting the Tomb Raider series go on without her and BuzzSugar wants to know who you'd like to see next as Lara Croft. Brad is venturing into some new territory with his look for this movie, though, and we'd like to know what you make of his style. So, tell us — think he's hot stuff or is this not really your thing?
Brad Pitt Keeps His Goatee Intact to Shoot Cogan's Trade
Brad Pitt slicked his hair back and rocked a leather jacket today on the New Orleans set of Cogan's Trade. The actor is both producing and starring in the heist film, which is his latest project after doing vocals for Happy Feet 2 and shooting Moneyball last year. His current movie features costars like James Gandolfini and, reportedly, Javier Bardem and Mark Ruffalo. Brad only arrived in Louisiana yesterday to start working, but he's taken plenty of trips away from his LA home base in recent weeks. He was off on a quick getaway in January and later left Angelina Jolie and their kids behind for a jaunt last month. His facial hair was on display throughout his many adventures, but the fuzz isn't deterring both men and women from admiring his looks.
