The red carpet at last night's American Music Awards in LA last night was packed with daring dresses and glammed-up girls. Fergie took a risk in a Falguni & Shane peacock feathered mini, balancing out her embellished shoulders with minimal makeup. Tangled star Mandy Moore also went short and sequined, while Kelly Osbourne opted for a simple strapless number and big hair. Heidi Klum wore something long and black, as did mom-to-be Pink, who glowed ahead of her highly anticipated performance.
Rihanna matched her red curls with a lacy Elie Saab gown. Sheryl Crow went with a bohemian look, and nominee Katy Perry got decked out in soft pink Badgley Mischka Couture. Miley Cyrus made a statement in white Marchesa with a long train and subtle eyeshadow, looking poised despite her alleged pre-show drama. Taylor Swift, in Collette Dinnigan, changed things up with new blunt bangs and later picked up the award for Favorite Female Country Artist. Check out the full winner list on Buzz. It's true that Will Smith and the rest of the gang on "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" made that show the lovable comedy it was, but the recast lists you all submitted for this week's recast challenge would definitely make for an interesting show if it were to be remade! I very much enjoyed the idea of Chiwetel Ejiofor as Geoffrey, which several of you suggested. I also liked Livience's pick of Bow Wow (formerly Lil Bow Wow) for the part of Will, and cashmere80's idea of Merrin Dungey as Vivian. Meekie53's pick for Chi McBride as Uncle Phil is so perfect, it turns out McBride actually made an appearance on "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" in 1992! And finally, a shout-out to pinkflats: Congratulations on reaching gold status while submitting a recast list for this challenge! You always have some great ideas, pinkflats.

With so many great young actors working right now, it was fun to present the Clueless recast and watch the awesome lists roll in. I can definitely see Amanda Bynes as Cher, like so many of you suggested, though I also enjoyed WhiplashGirlchild's idea of Mandy Moore, and I would love to see "Ugly Betty"'s Becki Newton in the role, as alethe16 mentioned.
I also like PrissyLilBadAss's casting choice of Zoe Saldana for Dionne, and dropstar's idea to put Al Pacino in the role of Cher's gruff-but-lovable daddy. Overall, however, my favorite cast list comes from smugirl!
