Friends With Kids

Jennifer Westfeldt stars in, wrote, and directed this comedy. Single Julie (Westfeldt) and her best friend, womanizer Jason (Adam Scott), agree to have a baby together, despite their married friends' warnings. The two love each other platonically but discover that their friendship gets complicated as they raise a child. Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, Chris O'Dowd, and Kristen Wiig are hilarious and heartbreaking as their network of friends. Extras include audio commentary, deleted scenes, a gag reel, and a making-of featurette.

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen

Ewan McGregor plays Dr. Alfred Jones, a fisheries expert who accepts the task of bringing fly fishing to the arid land of Yemen at the request of a sheik who enjoys the sport. Though he's skeptical about the project, he's propelled to succeed by the sheik's pretty consultant, Harriet (Emily Blunt). Two featurettes, "Miracles Happen: Making Salmon Fishing in the Yemen" and "The Fisherman in the Middle East: Novelist Paul Torday," are included on the DVD.

Will Ferrell Reveals His Favorite Spanish Phrase and Talks About His Unique New Movie

Will Ferrell is taking a different approach to comedy with his new movie, Casa de mi Padre: he speaks only Spanish in the film!

Will Ferrell is taking a different approach to comedy with his new movie, Casa de mi Padre: he speaks only Spanish in the film! We had the chance to sit down with Ferrell at a recent press day in San Francisco to pick his brain about how the idea for the project came to him and how he got help with his Spanish from costars like Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal. The funny man also revealed his favorite Spanish phrase — which isn't exactly the best conversation starter.

Que Bueno: Will Ferrell Goes Spanish For Casa de mi Padre Trailer

Just in time for Will Ferrell's appearance on The Office, we get to take a peek at his Spanish-language film, Casa de mi Padre.

Just in time for Will Ferrell's appearance on The Office, we get to take a peek at his Spanish-language film, Casa de mi Padre. It's everything we expected (and maybe just a teensy bit more): a full-on telenovela spoof, complete with sexo (that's sex to you), guns blazing, and slapping a-plenty. Despite the language barrier, Ferrell's character doesn't seem too far off his typical schmoes, but it's pretty entertaining to see Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna rise to the occasion and ham it up.

I couldn't help chuckling at the trailer, but I'm still a little wary of how this is going to pan out into a full-length film — it seems better suited to a four-minute Funny or Die sketch. Regardless, there's no denying that they deserve points for creativity. Watch it and weigh in when you read more

Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna Reunite For Will Ferrell

Two of my favorite movie and real-life BFFs, Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna, are reuniting on screen yet again, and this time it's in the name of Will Ferrell.

Two of my favorite movie and real-life BFFs, Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna, are reuniting on screen yet again, and this time it's in the name of Will Ferrell. The two have been cast in Ferrell's Spanish-language comedy Casa de Mi Padre (yes, Ferrell's Spanish-language comedy. Don't worry, there will be subtitles).

The Y Tu Mamá También and Rudo y Cursi costars sound like they have fairly big parts; Luna will play Ferrell's brother, and Garcia Bernal will play a family friend. Luna and Garcia Bernal starring in a mainstream comedy? Thank you, movie casting gods. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
