True Blood isn't known for its realistic story lines, but this season, things have been getting a little crazy. That said, it sounds like viewers are sticking around, if only to see if the show will get back to its roots. Meanwhile, fans are eating up tidbits from the new Arrested Development, and everyone is marking their calendars for American Horror Story's Fall premiere. Here are this week's most talked-about topics.
True Blood is spreading itself a little thin
- "I am still enjoying True Blood. Yes, this season has been jumpy but I was still surprised by Bill and how he is following the new authority! I am glad the fire story is finished and hope we get learn more about the vampire that killed Sookie and Jason's parents. I'm curious who it is or if it is someone who was already introduced to the show. I will still keep watching." — lauren
- "I can officially say they're getting damn close to jumping the shark here. True Blood has a wonderful core group of characters; please give them more air time and stop pulling in more and more characters that frankly have no real impact on the show and don't entertain at all." — bluegirl58
- "This episode went off the deep end a little, but I don't care. There were so many fun elements: man-eating pigs, a villain named Sweetie, good Eric and bad Bill, the end of the smoke monster (Praise Jesus! High fives all around!), Pam and Tara girl-bonding, and Sheriff Andy having an existential crisis. The negatives: Bill being with Salome is just not sexy to me (this glazed-over crisis of faith that Bill is having is not enjoyable to watch) and Bloody Lilith makes me want to wash my eyes out with bleach. We also need more Lafayette, please. A little is not enough!" — DianeK
