Who Runs the World: Beyoncé Sings New Song in H&M's Summer Commercial

H&M has tapped Beyoncé to be the face of its Summer campaign.

H&M has tapped Beyoncé to be the face of its Summer campaign. And with her Mrs. Carter world tour under way, today marks the simultaneous launch of the singer's H&M commercial, too. The video, along with the campaign images, show Beyoncé lounging on the beach in the Bahamas, looking (not surprisingly) amazing in a flurry of H&M swimwear and beachy cover-ups. But here's the best part: the commercial also features her new song, "Standing on the Sun," which feels (and sounds) just as Summer-perfect as the pieces she's wearing. Click on for a look at the commercial, plus the latest campaign images, inside the gallery.

From Concept to Reality: Striking Sketches of Beyoncé's Designer Tour Costumes

Megawatt divas were turning to high-end fashion houses for their tour wardrobes long before Beyoncé's Mrs. Carter Show.

Megawatt divas were turning to high-end fashion houses for their tour wardrobes long before Beyoncé's Mrs. Carter Show. But the singer, who embarked on her latest international tour yesterday, has so far worked with not just one brand, but three.

Pucci's Peter Dundas made at least six costumes for the singer, calling her "a true icon," and adding that "doing the costumes for her show was a privilege for me and for Emilio Pucci." Stuart Weitzman created shoes for her to dance in. Both brands released sketches of their custom creations, and Dsquared2's Dean and Dan Caten announced that they were happy to create a piece for her tour wardrobe, too.

Dsquared2's Wonder Twins Creating a Costume For Beyoncé's Upcoming Tour

Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 are the latest designers to create an onstage look for Beyoncé.

Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 are the latest designers to create an onstage look for Beyoncé.

The singer will wear at least one costume created by the designers during her Mrs. Carter Show tour, which begins on April 15 in Belgrade, Serbia and ends on August 15 in Brooklyn. The look is inspired by some of the more glamorous pieces in the Catens' '90s-fueled Spring 2013 collection, and a representative for the brand told Vogue UK that the outfit is "a unique outfit created exclusively for her."

But Beyoncé isn't the first diva to have a major fashion house design a tour wardrobe. Gucci's Frida Giannini created looks for Florence Welch to wear on tour in 2011, and Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy designed the looks Rihanna is wearing on her Diamonds Tour.
