Channing and Jenna Get Cute at a Busy Brunch For Their New 10 Years

Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan, joined their 10 Years costars yesterday morning in NYC for a special brunch at the Hotel Chantelle. Along with Channing and Jenna, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty, Max Minghella, Kate Mara, Ari Graynor, and Rosario Dawson stepped out to mingle at the meal. Channing and Jenna aren't the only real-life couple who worked on the film — Kate and Max are also dating! 10 Years opened in limited release last Friday, and the star-studded cast continues to throw their weight behind the high-school-reunion-themed film.

We caught up with Channing and Jenna before they chowed down on their meal, and they told us about their own experiences as teenagers. Channing skipped his own high school reunion, but says he knows their movie is still true to life. Jenna described her high school years as typically Texan, but with the addition of dance class every night. The training served her well — it was on the set of the dance flick Step Up that she and Channing first got together.

10 Years: A Reunion to Come Home For

He's played an undercover cop, a hopeless romantic, and a stripper in 2012, and Channing Tatum is adding to his banner year with another memorable performance in 10 Years. Tatum is part of an ensemble as Jake, a man returning to his hometown for his high school reunion. Not only does the film provide its fair share of belly laughs, but it also paints a bittersweet portrait of what all those archetypes from our favorite teen comedies (the ones where someone's trying to lose their virginity at prom) might be up to 10 years later. All the players are still the same, but this time around, the cruel jock (Chris Pratt) is attempting to make amends with the geeks he beat up in high school, the popular girl's (Lynn Collins) life is no longer one to envy, and everyone is struggling to reconcile who they used to be with the people they've become.

Jake's on-the-brink-of-engagement relationship with his girlfriend Jess (Jenna Dewan) is the primary focus of the movie, but it's just one of the dynamics on display throughout the night. The couple arrives in town for a preparty at old high school royalty Sam (Ari Graynor) and Cully's (Chris Pratt) house. Now living in the 'burbs with kids and a mortgage, their life is far from the homecoming court of yesteryear. One of the things that I appreciate about this movie is that it could so easily slide into a superficial trip down memory lane, but instead it plays up the realism. It's evident that despite their popular past, Sam and Cully aren't content with the paths they've taken, and they're not the only ones. In select theaters today, For a Good Time, Call . . . stars Ari Graynor and Lauren Miller as two roommates who run a phone sex line. We recently chatted with Lauren — who also cowrote the screenplay — and Ari about their sweet and sexy flick, which is actually based loosely on cowriter Katie Anne Naylon's real-life experiences as a phone sex operator in college! (Check out our interview with Katie here.) Lauren and Ari shared their own roommate horror stories, how they researched the business of phone sex, and what it was like to be a part of this new wave of raunchy female comedies. Plus, Lauren dished on the effect this sexy role had on her relationship with hubby Seth Rogen, who has a cameo in the film. Watch our interview now!

Seth Rogen joined his Armani-clad wife, Lauren Miller, at last night's NYC premiere of For a Good Time, Call . . . Lauren wrote the raunchy comedy and costars in it with funny lady Ari Graynor, who chose a pink low-cut dress from Honor and Brian Atwood heels. Justin Long, who's reportedly dating Kate Mara, stepped out solo and adorably posed for photos holding his phone. Paul Rudd, Kristen Wiig, and Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss stopped by the afterparty to show their support for the project. Elisabeth debuted a short blond bob on the red carpet and turned heads in a sexy black cocktail dress. When asked if blondes really have more fun, Elisabeth joked that she is "so far." For a Good Time, Call . . . hits theaters Aug. 31.

For a Good Time, Call . . . Trailer: Ari Graynor Makes a Bundle on Phone Sex

Ever wonder how twentysomethings in movies all seem to live in amazing apartments in NYC despite their lack of income?

Ever wonder how twentysomethings in movies all seem to live in amazing apartments in NYC despite their lack of income? Katie (Ari Graynor) and Lauren (Lauren Miller) have it all figured out in For a Good Time, Call . . .'s red band trailer. The story starts 10 years ago when a mutual friend (Justin Long) introduces them and drunk Katie proceeds to pee in a Big Gulp in Lauren's car, then spill the contents all over her face. Flash forward 10 years and the two meet again and agree to a convenient roommate situation. Katie's place is great, then Lauren finds out how she's financing it: by operating a phone sex line.

I love the way uptight Lauren and freewheeling Katie play off each other, and the story, in which they eventually pull together their respective skills to make some serious moola, is shockingly realistic in these economic times. The movie doesn't come out until Fall, but check out the NSFW trailer and let me know what you think after the jump.
