American Idol Predictions

From kissing judges to Steven's tongue and the brief return of Pia Toscano, tonight's American Idol was a fun one. The top seven took on songs from the 21st century, which meant we were treated to recent hits and even the current number one record in America, Adele's "Rolling In the Deep." The show kicked off with a performance from the recently eliminated contestants, including Pia, whose rumored boyfriend Mark Ballas was in the crowd to cheer her on, and Paul McDonald decked out in an embroidered suit. There were a couple standouts among the remaining finalists, but it's hard to pick who will be in the bottom three — check out my recap of each performance and then vote on who you think is still in the game, and who's on their way out.

American Idol's top eight contestants looked to their cinematic favorites to pick a song for movie night. Everyone seems to still be reeling from Pia's elimination last week, giving the competition more of a feeling that no one is safe. The judges were scant on criticism this week, but we're not — check out my recap of each performance and then vote on who you think is still in the game, and who's on their way out.

We're so close to choosing the season nine American Idol! Last night, the final three — Lee, Crystal, and Casey — took the stage with two different songs to earn their spots in the finale. Rate the performances with me now, and predict who you think is going to take it all!

Alicia Keys joined American Idol's top seven as they tackled inspirational songs, to tie in with the Idol Gives Back event Wednesday night. This week the top 11 had their choice of any No. 1 hit from the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Miley Cyrus was the mentor, which excited the remaining singers, especially the younger ones. The five remaining American Idol contestants tried to play it cool on Tuesday by singing songs made famous by the original Rat Pack. Of course, only four can advance to the next round. We're really getting down to the wire here, so tell me: Can Allison keep the ladies' hopes alive? Can Matt continue to make the judges glad they saved him? Which contestant will be heading home this week?
