Josh Hutcherson and Freida Pinto were among the celebs — and past and present Nylon cover stars — who turned out to celebrate the magazine's 13th anniversary last night in LA. The celebration was held at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood. Freida arrived in a Prada dress before settling into the VIP section with her friends and her talent agent. Josh, sporting a fedora and sunglasses despite the late hour, arrived with a friend a while after, and was one of several actors from The Hunger Games at the bash. Dayo Okeniyi, Jacqueline Emerson, and Alexander Ludwig were also at the soiree, and the costars stopped to pose for several photos together during the festivities. The Hunger Games' stars are still riding high on their movie's continued streak of success at the box office. Last weekend, it even beat out the 3D relaunch of Titanic both here and in the UK to take the number-one spot.

Liam Hemsworth and his costars Amandla Stenberg and Alexander Ludwig stopped by the Barnes & Noble at The Grove shopping mall in LA last night to sign copies of The Hunger Games. The trio were on hand for the fan event just hours before the first midnight showings of the film began. The movie is already projected to make about $130 million in its opening weekend, with the 12 a.m. screenings already raking in about $20 million.

The cast of the big-screen adaptation of the bestselling book has been hard at work promoting the release of the movie for months. This week, Jennifer Lawrence made several late-night and early-morning TV stops, visiting GMA, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and The Late Show, just to name a few. Check out our review of The Hunger Games and, if you were one of those who stayed up late to see a midnight screening, tell us what you thought of the film in the comments!

Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth were without their leading lady Jennifer Lawrence, but they were joined by costar Alexander Ludwig, who plays Cato, for their Hunger Games premiere in Toronto last night. The guys are making the rounds in Canada, stopping by The Marilyn Denis Show in the morning and then MuchMusic in the afternoon before their big red carpet. Early reviews for the highly-anticipated movie are largely positive and the buzz is only building ahead of Friday's release date. Current projections are saying that The Hunger Games could rake in $130-140 in its opening weekend, which would make it the biggest March movie opening of all time. It would be a huge triumph for the studio and the young cast, who have been tirelessly promoting The Hunger Games around the world in recent weeks. The marketing strategy has still kept much of the movie — including any glimpse of the games themselves — a secret, and to gear up, BuzzSugar revealed the Hunger Games scenes we're most excited to see.
