As Max on Happy Endings, Adam Pally has some of the best one-liners on TV, but he's equally hilarious when he's off duty. Adam stopped by our LA studios recently to talk about being a part of the comedy's tight-knit cast, the return of Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and fatherhood. Check out our chat, and catch Happy Endings when it returns to ABC tonight at 8/7 p.m. Central. On Lindsay: Zimmerman skirt and top, Adeam jacket.
Video: Happy Endings' Adam Pally Reveals His Celebrity Man Crush
One of our favorite comedies, Happy Endings, returns tonight for its third season, which means we'll finally get to see the aftermath of Alex and Dave's reunion. But when I recently sat down with Adam Pally, who plays Max on the show, the hot topic of conversation was Max's love life. Pally revealed which celeb he'd love to see Max coupled up with (hint: it's definitely not anyone you'd guess), and whether or not we'll see his ex Grant back on the show. Check out the interview below before the Happy Endings season premiere.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Lend Their Support to a Kid-Friendly Benefit
Ben Affleck attended the Children Mending Hearts benefit event in Pacific Palisades yesterday with several celebrity friends. His wife Jennifer Garner was also spotted at the fundraising party. Ben and Jennifer welcomed new baby Samuel last month, and kids were top of mind at the weekend bash, which helped raise money in support of after-school programs. Ben spent some time catching up with George Clooney's producing partner Grant Heslov during the outdoor festivities and also made time to take pictures with a few of his young fans. Tobey and Jennifer Maguire, Adam Pally of Happy Endings, and Sam Trammell of True Blood were among the other guests at the party, and manning the turntables was none other than Connor Cruise. Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise's son is pursuing a career as a DJ and has been spinning at several high-profile events as of late.
Adam Pally and Casey Wilson Promise "More Trainwrecks" For Their Happy Endings Characters
On ABC comedy Happy Endings, Adam Pally and Casey Wilson play Max and Penny, the perpetually single anchors in their group of friends. Both characters frequently find themselves in awkward but hilarious dating situations (which they're often the cause of), so when I had a chance to chat with them, I asked whether we can expect more of that. Luckily they said yes, and gave us a little insight into what we can look forward to when season two returns Sept. 28.
Video: The Hot Cast of Happy Endings Talks Drinking and Hooking Up!
Happy Endings is the newest mid-season relationship comedy to hit the small screen, premiering tomorrow night at 9:30 on ABC! We caught up with the very good-looking cast on set to hear about their chemistry, who's the biggest drinker, and what they thought when they read — or didn't read — the pilot script. The girls of the crew include 24 and The Girl Next Door star Elisha Cuthbert, SNL alumni Casey Wilson, and Scrubs's Eliza Coupe, while the guys are cute Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, and Damon Wayans Jr. We enjoyed the first episode of the show and they're kicking off by airing two back to back — check out our interviews and tune into Happy Endings on April 13!
