Taylor Swift looked stunning in a gold Dolce & Gabbana gown as she worked her stuff on the red carpet alongside stars like Sheryl Crow and Keith Urban. Carrie Underwood made a big statement in a red Naeem Khan frock, while Faith Hill went for a simple black number to pose in front of photographers with husband Tim McGraw. Inside the event, Taylor got giddy when she got a chance to meet Shania Twain and John Mayer sang with Brad Paisley in one of his first live performances since he has battled vocal cord problems.
Big winners at the ACM Awards included Miranda Lambert, who nabbed awards for female vocalist of the year, single record of the year, and song of the year with husband Blake Shelton. Miranda broke down in tears during her acceptance speeches, saying that she was "rooting for Carrie Underwood" for the female vocalist award. Last night, Taylor Swift won the Entertainer of the Year Award at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
