TV Tonight: Greek Is Back!

I wish all my favorite shows only had about 10 weeks between seasons (or "chapters," or whatever). As it is, many of my most beloved series had finales around the beginning or middle of May and many of them don't return until the end of September. So it's a real treat that Greek ended its second chapter in the middle of June and now it's returning with new episodes tonight!
We left the Zeta Beta Zetas, Kappa Taus and Omega Chis back in June with the episode "At World's End" in which the Kappa Taus hosted an "end of the world" party. Casey decided it was time to end things with Max and revealed her lingering feelings for Cappie, who insisted it still wouldn't work between them. Meanwhile, Rusty and Jordan are still goofy-happy in love, Ashleigh seems to still like her boy Fisher, and Frannie left. When the gang returns tonight, Cappie finds out about Max leaving the school while Casey mopes about having been rejected, and Rusty's organic chemistry grades are falling, which means he may be dropped from the honors program. Calvin and Dale both admit to having broken their "purity pledges" at the party, and Rebecca has an idea for how Evan can make some money now that his parents have cut him off.

Caption It!
Welcome to the Caption It game on BuzzSugar! Every Wednesday, I'll post a photo still from a TV show or movie here and challenge you to think of the most hilarious caption possible. I'll announce the finalists the following Tuesday, and you'll get to vote for the best caption!
First, let's determine a winner for last week's challenge which featured a photo from Inglourious Basterds. From the looks of the poll, Vanonymous is winning with this quote:
"Oh, don't look at me like that. You and that leopard were hardly friends."
Hooray for Vanonymous! Now on to this week's photo. . . .
When I was putting together this slideshow featuring Greek cast members in their skivvies, I couldn't help but notice that this photo has prime captioning potential. I know I wouldn't mind being in Casey's shoes here, as long as Cappie were also in that line somewhere.
Leave your captions in the comment space below before 5 p.m. PDT on Monday, Aug. 31 to be considered for a spot in the voting round. Have fun!

Watch Lindsay Lohan in the New ABC Family Original Movie Labor Pains!
Don’t miss the premiere of the new ABC Family original movie Labor Pains. Lindsay Lohan stars as Thea, an assistant at a publishing company who pretends to be pregnant in order to avoid being fired by her boss Mr. Steinwald (Chris Parnell). With the help of her friend and co-worker, Lisa (Cheryl Hines), Thea tries to pull off the deception long enough to ensure her job is secure. However, the lie quickly spins out of control. Labor Pains premieres Sunday, July 19, at 8/7c only on ABC Family.
TV Tonight: The Greek Finale

We've pondered and discussed the question of who Casey should be with — Cappie or Max (or no one!) — and in tonight's finale of Greek, Casey will finally make her decision. Many of us have an assumption of who it'll be (and the clip after the jump only confirms this) so now I'm tuning in to find out how the "chosen one" will react!
Here's what else we can expect from tonight's finale: "Kappa Tau hosts an 'End of the World' party, and Casey struggles with conflicting feelings she has for Max and Cappie. Meanwhile, Ashleigh is accused of sabotaging a homecoming float, and Dale and Calvin take a purity pledge."
It'll be a bittersweet night as the season comes to a close, but thankfully we don't have long to wait until the next "chapter" begins on Monday, Aug. 31. To check out a clip from tonight's episode, in which Ashleigh has some tough-love words for Casey, read more
Greek Fans: Who Should Casey Be With?

The season (or "chapter" or whatever) finale of Greek isn't until Monday night, but I'm already thinking about it. We've been watching Casey's sort of push-pull relationship with Max (while she clearly still has some feelings for Cappie) and in Monday's episode we'll see Casey truly confront the question of who she should be with: Max or Cappie?
What do you think? Geeky, sweet Max, or funny, straight-shootin' Cappie? Or do you think she and Evan would still make sense together? Or should she just be single?

First Look: 10 Things I Hate About You and Make It or Break it
When I was putting together my Summer TV top 10 list, I couldn't choose just one ABC Family show to include. That's because the network has two new shows coming out over the next few weeks that seem like they could give old favorites like Greek a run for their money.

One of them is Make It or Break It, a show about an elite group of teen gymnastics champions whose world gets shaken up when a new hot prospect gets discovered — on a playground, no less — and comes to train at their gym. The part of me that grew up reading the Gymnasts book series and wishing I could do the splits can't wait to watch this show. (The part of me that watched a whole lot of the Summer Olympics is already getting judgey about the stunt doubles' gymnastics, but those who can't do a handspring shouldn't throw stones, right?) It premieres June 22 after the return of The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
The other series I'm curious to check out is the TV version of 10 Things I Hate About You, and judging from these poll results, I'm expecting some split opinions on this one. On paper, the show has some good things going for it: The movie's director also directed the pilot; Aliens in America's Lindsay Shaw is taking Julia Stiles's old role as Kat; and Larry Miller reprises his part from the movie as the girls' father. Greek writer Carter Covington is the man behind the series, which is a plus in my book. 10 Things will premiere July 7.

Wedding Party Moments: A ZBZ Bachelorette Party on Greek

From the previews for this week's episode of Greek, it looked like Max was going to propose to Casey! If you haven't yet watched the episode, I won't say what happens, but I will say that there is a wedding on Greek — for former Zeta Beta Zeta sister Kiki, who was Frannie's big sis (so, Casey's grand-big sis, and now Jordan's great-grand-big sis). Kiki (played by Colette Wolfe, whom I've seen everywhere lately, from Observe and Report and 17 Again to a recent episode of Reaper) wants to have the wedding at CRU and she enlists the help of her old ZBZ sisters.
Included in this whirlwind wedding weekend is a bachelorette party for Kiki at Dobler's, but going through Kiki's "scavenger hunt" list ends up revealing more about Casey, Frannie and especially Rebecca than it does about Kiki. If you've seen the episode (or don't mind some spoiler-y stuff), you can check out Kiki's bachelorette party scene from Greek if you read more
