We're looking back at the biggest headlines of 2010, and we'll be revealing more throughout the month of December. Here's one of the stories that created the most buzz over the past 12 months and don't miss the rest of our Best of 2010 coverage across the network!

It was a year of enormous change for Sandra Bullock, who achieved Best Actress Oscar glory in March for her fantastic work in The Blind Side only to face the end of her marriage to Jesse James a few weeks later. That sort of upheaval would have been a lot for anyone, but Sandra had a secret she maintained despite all the chaos - earlier this year, she and Jesse had started down the path to adopting son Louis.

Sandra won her Academy Award on March 7 for her role in The Blind Side, with her then-husband Jesse James by her side acting the part of the proud spouse. It was only ten days later that reports about Jesse's infidelities began to emerge, and over the course of the next month Sandra moved out of their home, hired a lawyer, and took off her wedding ring.

The headlines continued for weeks until Sandra changed the whole narrative by showing off her adopted son, Louis Bardo Bullock, in a special issue of People! She took the opportunity to confirm that she was indeed divorcing Jesse, though she hopes that he'll still play a role in Louis's life.

Sandra and Louis escaped LA to spend time in both his home city of New Orleans, where they spent her first Mother's Day, and Austin. It wasn't until June that she stepped back into the limelight by appearing at the Spike Guys Choice Awards and the MTV Movie Awards. With her divorce finally official, Sandra's ready to get back to acting and of course she'll have little Louis along wherever her flourishing career takes them.

The hosts of 2011's Oscars were announced this morning, and it looks like Anne Hathaway and James Franco have been selected for the job! Their stints as emcees come after the Academy picked the double bill of Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin last year. The young stars might make a random pair, and things could get especially interesting if either ends up with a nomination. James is currently in high demand following the release of 127 Hours, and Anne has been making the rounds to promote Love and Other Drugs. They'll have to clear their busy schedules, though, to rehearse ahead of the Feb. 27 ceremony. So, tell us who you're more excited to see as host - Anne or James?

Molly Ringwald Goes Green to Lose Weight

I've come to accept that I will always get a little choked up during the Oscars. This year it happened during the touching tribute to John Hughes - director of one of my all-time favorites, The Breakfast Club. It was especially great to see actress Molly Ringwald take the stage to honor her mentor. Like me, most of you thought Molly looked stunning in her purple Todd Thomas gown. Looking at her on stage, it was hard to believe that she gave birth to twins just eight months ago! The actress shared with People magazine that the key to slimming down for her was to keep everything in moderation.

Molly also may be getting into the St. Patrick's Day spirit early, admitting that her day isn't complete without some green.

"I try to make sure that I eat something green. I think that's just a really good rule of thumb. I love all different kinds of vegetables, but the green ones are generally the best for you and the best for your diet."

While I think it's best to get a rainbow of colors on your plate, Molly is on to something - leafy green veggies are packed with vitamin A, folate, and potassium. Molly waited until her twins were 6 weeks old before she started to lose the weight, and made a decision to take things slow.

"Just dieting basically, and it wasn't even like a really strict diet. It was more just a sensible diet, cutting down on sweets and upping the vegetables and protein, less starch, and I just worked out a lot, I'd say about three or four times a week."
