For me, last week's episode of "Traveler" marked a shift in the way I think about the show. It's not just a fun summer time-waster anymore; it's actually good. But I'm getting a little nervous about how the show is going to wrap up. Tonight marks episode six in the show's scheduled eight-episode run, and there's still so much we don't know. Why does Homeland Security want Jay and Tyler dead? Why was Will being interrogated on a sound stage? What do Tyler and Jay's fathers have to do with all of this? And who is Will, anyway?
From the looks of the preview clip for tonight's installment, it looks like we'll once again be getting more questions than answers — in addition to yet another new character, Eddie. But hey, Jay and Tyler are back to running (and panting overly loudly) through the streets, and that's got to count for something, right? To watch the clip for yourself, read more
As the Sugar Network's wedding bliss goes on, we're devoting this week to honeymoons, which gives me an excuse to create a Playlist devoted to all things vacation. People take honeymoon trips to all sorts of places these days, but to me, the mere mention of honeymoons conjures up images of island getaways, beach-side nights, and, of course, a little afternoon delight.

So that's where I decided to go with this honeymoon vacation iMix. Clicking the link takes you to a URL that will ask you to launch iTunes, so just click "launch application" in the pop-up window. Since I'm now publishing the BuzzSugar Playlists on iTunes, you can even buy the iMix for your next vacation. Tell me what would be on your honeymoon mix, and to see the list of songs on mine, read more
The American Film Institute recently released their revised 100 Years, 100 Films list (viewable here), and while many of the listed films are certainly greats, there are noticeably few nods toward female-directed or female-driven movies. Truth be told, there really isn't a whole lot of diversity of any kind amongst the titles listed. Thus, the Alliance of Women Film Journalists has created its own Top 100 Films list, putting it in alphabetical order rather than starting the list with the very "best" and going from there.

I have to say I agree with more of the AWFJ's picks than I do with the AFI's list, though I'm not sure that has anything to do with my being female. The AFI's list baffles me for its inclusion of movies like Toy Story, but its dismissal of The Hours or The Piano.
On the AWFJ list I thoroughly support the addition of such films as Amelie, Frida and Heavenly Creatures. However, there are certain choices I can't get on board for, such as including Clueless and not Dr. Strangelove, or Fast Times at Ridgemont High but not One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Still, I'm more than a little excited that someone took it upon themselves to respond to the AFI's heralding of movies that focus primarily on the male perspective and the male experience.

Despite his obnoxious insistence on telling (and telling, and telling) his side of the "Grey's Anatomy" on-set scuffle - slash - f-word debacle, Isaiah Washington is still in demand. According to the Hollywood Reporter, NBC is in talks with Washington to bring him to the network.
It's not known whether Washington would join an existing series or star in a new one, but if NBC needs help envisioning where to place the embattled actor, I have a few suggestions:
- "Heroes" — Washington comes aboard as Micah's long-lost uncle, who has the power of stretchiness to more easily throttle enemies from across the room.
- "Scrubs" — In one of JD's dream sequences, Washington plays a surgeon who mistakes Turk's friendliness for flirtiness and asks him on a date.
- "ER" — Washington plays a late-in-life medical intern who comes to County General to restart his internship after failing miserably in his first program in Seattle.
- "Friday Night Lights" — Washington plays a high school football scout who gets sued after leaking to the press that one of the Dillon Panthers' top prospects could be gay.
- "Law & Order" — In a special "ripped from the headlines" episode, Washington uses a gay slur against a coworker, graduates from anger management, does a public service announcement to prove that he's reformed, gets fired from his job anyway, then sues his former company for millions.

Along with preparing for the opening of Transformers next Tuesday July 3 and working on the fourth Indiana Jones movie, Shia LaBeouf has signed on to team up with his Disturbia director D.J. Caruso for another project. Titled Eagle Eye, the movie has Shia starring as "a young slacker whose overachieving twin brother has died mysteriously. When the young man returns home, both he and a single mother find they have been framed as terrorists. Forced to become members of a cell that has plans to carry out a political assassination, they must work together to extricate themselves."

Yipes! Well, the Disturbia duo have proven themselves more than capable of doing the thriller thing, so I'm looking forward to this project. For now, check out this video of Shia talking about meeting Harrison Ford and being overwhelmed by Ford's coolness. I had no idea that Shia said things like "he's not really a Hollywood cat" until I saw this video but now that I know that, I have to say I love the little guy a bit more. It also looks like he might cry while he gushes about Ford, which is weird and sweet. To see the video, read more
Every Wednesday on BuzzSugar, I post a Recast challenge, where I ask you to choose new actors for a classic TV show or movie. The reader who submits the best cast wins a BuzzSugar t-shirt!
Wow, I had no idea the recast challenge for "Full House" would be so much fun! The lists that came in this week were really creative and interesting. Among many others, one of my favorite picks was fieryelectra's idea of Seth Rogen as Joey, and I thought schultzie11's pick of John Mayer as Jesse was odd but funny. I also thought txhottie's idea of Neil Flynn (Janitor on "Scrubs") as Danny was unique, while juliesf's pick of another "Scrubs" star, Sarah Chalke, for the part of Rebecca would be a lot of fun.
As for overall lists, however, my favorite this week comes from alynn! To see who alynn picked along with a new cast photo, read more
