The last season of The Vampire Diaries ended with a massive cliff-hanger, with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) teetering on the edge of being gone forever. While it's very rare that anyone dies for real on the show, the cast had a little fun with fans at Comic-Con and showed a video that implies the two characters won't return. While Somerhalder and Graham are outraged — Somerhalder: "I even let Paul Wesley direct me!" — the rest of the cast is pretty satisfied. Wesley, Nina Dobrev, Candice Accola (who was not too pleased with Graham eating her turkey club months ago), and the rest of the cast all appear. The only one who is at all upset is The Originals' Joseph Morgan, whom Somerhalder hilariously refers to as "Joe Mo," and that's just because he doesn't want anyone else getting their own spinoff.
