Lorde Will Lord Over the Mockingjay Soundtrack

Lorde is following in the footsteps of Taylor Swift and Coldplay by creating an original song for the Hunger Games movies. The young Grammy winner will "pen an original song and curate the soundtrack" for Mockingjay — Part 1, according to the film's Facebook account. "Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance," said Lorde. "The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience.
