These New Girl Stars Might Be Even Funnier on the Big Screen

We've been excited about Let's Be Cops since the stars shared behind-the-scenes pictures of the set last Summer, but now we're even more stoked about the buddy-cop comedy. The first trailer for the movie, starring New Girl costars Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr., is here, and it is laugh-out-loud funny. The boys play friends who dress up as policemen one night for a party but soon find out they get legitimate respect as pretend-cops. They have fun that night, but then they take it a little further, continuing to pose as cops and getting an old patrol car on eBay. Nina Dobrev also stars as a waitress and a love interest for Wayans.

This is the funniest cop-related trailer I've seen since 22 Jump Street, and this movie also has Rob Riggle! Seriously, I could watch Johnson falling on his face over and over again. Andy Garcia, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jonathan Lajoie (The League) all turn up as well. The movie opens Aug. 13, so until then, take a look at the red-band trailer!
