Sandra described "fireworks" at their first meeting, and the pair shared plenty of one-liners as they chatted about what might be the first female buddy movie of its kind.

One of the biggest Coachella rumors making the rounds at the festival this weekend was that Phoenix would welcome a special musical guest to the stage during their Saturday night set — but no one guessed it would be R. Kelly. The band is releasing their album Bankrupt! this month, their first since 2009's Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix. The buzz around the festival grounds was that Daft Punk might be making a surprise appearance during Phoenix's show. Daft Punk is also on the verge of releasing a long-awaited album, and the groups have surprised fans before, playing during the encore of Phoenix's Oct. 20, 2010, Madison Square Garden show.
However, after Phoenix's set ended around 12:30 a.m., the stage went dim for a couple of minutes before Kelly's voice soared out into the night and fans started rushing the stage. Kelly and Phoenix front man Thomas Mars joined forces for a spirited duet, blending "Ignition (Remix)" with the music from Phoenix's track "1901." The performance wasn't the only collaboration in the desert yesterday. Solange Knowles also took the stage to sing with The XX. To watch the Phoenix and Kelly performance, just keep reading.

Vanessa Hudgens and her boyfriend, Austin Butler, also took advantage of the rides and took a spin on the bumper cars, while Alexander Skarsgard was spotted making the rounds solo. One unexpected guest at the bash was Clint Eastwood, who played carnival games, sipped beer, and stopped to take some photos with fans.

Today's H&M Loves Music pool party was held at the expansive Merv Griffin Estate just outside of Palm Springs. The bash was the first such event the global fashion brand has thrown in conjunction with Coachella. The festivities featured paddleboat rides and ping-pong tables, carnival snacks including popcorn, cotton candy, and churros, and a live poolside performance by Santigold. Santigold hit the stage late in the afternoon and played some of her biggest hits, including "L.E.S. Artistes," for the crowd. During the soiree, we caught up with Sophia Bush, who was lounging under an umbrella with a group, and spotted Darren Criss taking a turn on the paddleboats. Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson also arrived with friend and designer Jason Wu and relaxed by the pool.
Later on, Diane and Joshua transitioned to the Coachella festival itself, where they shared a few kisses in the VIP sections as bands played. Several famous couples have been making the rounds at the festival this year. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were at Coachella last night, Michael Polish and Kate Bosworth spent yesterday afternoon checking out bands including Beach House, and even Hilary Duff and her husband Mike Comrie made their way out to the desert to take in the first of two Coachella weekends.

On Friday night, she took in some music at Coachella with her friends Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Katy was one of several recording artists and musicians at the Lacoste event over the weekend, where Alexa Chung played DJ and Rita Ora relaxed in the shade. Meanwhile, Chris Pine, Victoria's Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio, and The Carrie Diaries actress AnnaSophia Robb lounged in a cabana together during the hot desert afternoon, and brothers Joe and Nick Jonas stayed cool in hats and shades as they made the rounds.

The event even featured a pop-up boutique where guests could shop for swimsuits, jewelry, and beach towels to complete their festival looks. As the afternoon went on, DJ Mia Moretti took a break from the turntables to take photos with her friend Katy Perry, who is a fixture at Coachella each year. A recently single Julianne Hough also hung out by the pool and shared a few laughs with a group of female friends.
