Zooey Deschanel Chosen for M. Night Shyamalan's Happening

The Good News:
More Zooey Deschanel for everyone! Yay!

The Not-As-Good News:
She's been cast in an M. Night Shyamalan film. Sigh. Have we forgotten that Lady in the Water so soon?

The Details:
Titled The Happening and also starring Mark Wahlberg, the movie "tells the story of a man who takes his family on the run when an apocalyptical natural crisis threatens to end civilization."

Predictions:
Wahlberg's character has a temper, Zooey does her adorable, quirky, too-cool thing and there's a "twist" at the end. Shyamalan or no, I am still excited to see what's Happening.

I love Zooey! I actually do still enjoy M. Night Shyamalan...maybe it's because I didn't watch "Lady in the Water" yet. I've really really liked the others. I'll definitely watch this one.

I have a HUGE crush on M. Night Shyamalan. The only reason I would want to see this is for him because he is in all of his movies.

I'm not really into the whole M. Night Shyamalan films. But I'm a big Deschanel sister fans... and I think Zooey is just a great actress. I'll watch this one.

I have such a girl crush on Zooey I wouldn't care if Paris Hilton was directing it...I'd still go see it (okay, maybe not Paris, but definitly M. Night).
