Are You Coming Back to Dollhouse Tonight?

Joss Whedon's Dollhouse had a ton of buzz before its premiere last week, but that didn't exactly translate into big ratings. The show averaged 4.7 million viewers for its premiere last week, losing both in total viewers and in the key 18-49 demographic to ABC's Supernanny.

Still, I've heard good things about some of the upcoming episodes, and Fox swore up and down at TCA that it planned to let all 13 episodes of the show's first season air regardless of the ratings. So tell me: Are you sticking with Dollhouse?

Loved it, blogged about it and will continue to blog about it on my onsugar blog. The show has a great concept and I like that they're already working on character development. Here's hoping that Joss gets to do his whole 5-year plan.

I'm giving the show a second chance as there are a lot of good shows that have terrible pilots. However, I'm afraid that Eliza Dushku just doesn't have the chops to play a character that is several characters. I just couldn't buy her as a ruthless negotiator last week.

The first episode was okay, I love Joss, so I know that some shows of his dont start off really super strong, My problem is that the commercials were too many, the quality was poor, and so i rewatched it on HULU.com and it was way better. My hubby says "I cant see her as anyone but Faith" and i have to say he is right!

I dvr-ed it but didn't get all the way through it last week. I'll record it tonight and take some time out and watch it some time this weekend or next week. I feel like I should give Joss a try, no matter what because he's just talented.

The pilot wasn't the greatest, however I thought the pilots for "Buffy" and "Angel" were weak too- then the shows picked up speed and rocked ("Firefly" just rocked from the get-go), so I'm confident this show will do the same.

I'm going to try and catch it (haven't seen the first one yet). But I wouldn't be surprised if Fox messed with the pilot and its probably not what Whedon wanted (anyone who loooooves Firefly like I did knows that Fox messed it all up by shuffling the order of the episodes and making Whedon create a whole new pilot that had more "punch". Idiots at Fox).

Ugh, I feel so frustrated that FOX always screws up Joss Whedon's series premieres! ;) I'll be back, I think this show has some good potential.

I think the "she hurts" line was meant to illustrate that, after a mind wipe, an active enters an almost child-like state, and their language reflects that. Anyway, the upcoming episodes are supposed to be better than the pilot (which the Fox executives apparently fiddled with, a lot) so I'm going to keep watching. The concept of the show is pretty interesting.

i want to like it, I like the idea, but i really don't think eliza is a good enough actress. bummer

It was just okay, but I think it has potential so I'm going to at least DVR the next episode. The one thing I have to complain about is how ovvvverly sexualized everything is, and it got a little corny as someone said in some stages.

I really enjoyed the first episode.I think it's a neat premise and look forward to watching this play out.I agree a bit with ladybirda. A couple of Eliza Dushku'e scenes, it appeared she was acting and not the character.Loved seeing Amy Acker and hope she's in more episodes.

I'm a Whedon fan (love Dr. Horrible) but this show is a too-cheesy watered down version of Charlie's Angels/Alias/La Femme Nikita and the amnesia gimmick isn't enough to make the premise interesting. And Eliza Dushku is beautiful, but truly a terrible actress. I think it might have worked better if Amy Acker, who has a small part, had been cast as the lead.
