Lauren Conrad has said that the forthcoming season of The Hills, which returns March 30 to MTV, will be her last.
But that doesn't necessarily mean it's curtains for The Hills itself. A source has now said that MTV is looking into renewing the series with the rest of the cast — Audrina, Heidi, Spencer, etc. — even if Lauren stays firm and doesn't return.
But is The Hills really The Hills without LC? Without her at the center, would you still watch?

I think I'm pretty much all set with The Hills...I enjoyed it for a little while, but now I'm ready to move on!
I didn't even like her on Laguna Beach
The show has recycled so many story lines since the end of the 2nd season, I've stopped watching altogether. Like emalove said, it was fun for awhile. Personally, I think the show should end if she leaves only so Speidi has less exposure/funds to pay for publicity.
Lauren is the least exciting part of the show. She is SO boring and has no personality. However, without Whitney it won't be the same. I won't watch just Heidi and Spencer making out and Audrina lusting after JB.
I rather watch the news... you know, a REAL reality show... with REAL world drama... MTV is a disgrace to the music industry.
I've never watched, but sometimes it is just time to let things go...
I love the Hills but would not watch it without LC. Its her show.
Lauren is the best part about the Hills. Therefore i don't think i'll be watching it when she leaves. Plus i can't stand Heidi, Spencer and Audrina!
most probably no
Never have and never will.
i'm sure that i would tune in to see what they do with the show, but i think that since it was all originally based on her, it'll be a stretch. i'm sure that heidi would be thrilled to be the main character or audrina for that matter since it would mean more money for them, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Hell-to-the-no! That is like... killing Captain America off from the Avengers.
I used to watch. But I am not really into it anymore. Sometimes if nothing else is on I will put in on. Heidi and Spencer drive me nuts though so I choose not to watch them. Lauren is cool, so I guess without her there wouldn't ever be a chance of me watching.
god, please! the entire show is so vapid.
"Isn't it crazy how all this is happening while Lauren's gone?"
Like was said above, it was fun for awhile...but now there are no surprises. The "real" stuff that actually happens to the stars of the show is splashed across the tabloids so I don't need to watch the show anymore. I mean, remember the Justin Bobby/Lauren hook up rumors and well as the Speidi wedding? That stuff is in the tabloids and blogs before the episodes even air. So why bother? I'm glad Lauren is moving on. I think she realizes the silliness of it all.
Never watched it and never will. I can't believe people even watch this trite.
It's Lauren's show. Also I loathe Heidi and Spencer, they are so fake and obnoxious and Audrina bores me. The only way I'd watch without Lauren would be with Lo but obviously if Lauren's gone then so is she.
Not a fan of it...
I used to watch religiously until Spencer and Heidi went completely insane. I stopped watching cold turkey because of them.
