Would You Want to See Daniel Radcliffe Play a Young James Bond?

Recently there was a rumor circulating the film world that Daniel Radcliffe, Mr. Harry Potter himself, might play a younger version of James Bond. Apparently, a series of films may be made that follow the young Bond while he is attending Eton College and getting into all sorts of trouble.

Do you think Radcliffe could pull this off?

!!!! when did this happen?!(my response to the 1st comment.) anywho, i'm kind of indifferent on the subject of a young bond...while i like radcliffe as an actor, i'm unsure of how he would be in the role. also, daniel craig already has the movie all wrapped up in awesome, anyway, so what's the point of revealing his youth? it works better if he's brooding and mysterious...

Nope...he's too nerdy to be the suave James Bond...even in a "young bond"...you just get the feeling that James has been suave his whole life...and Daniel is too awkward, i think.

danielle radcliffe is sexy & buff - just look at his equis pix!! i'm not sure if a young bond would work, but who knows, they used to have a young indian jones tv show back in the day so anything is possible.

I think Radcliffe could pull it off, but I am not interested in a young James Bond. Bond is interesting because he is 007 the super-spy. Not sure there is much about his youth that would be compelling. And if there was, wouldn't that ruin the whole point of the mindless enjoyment of Bond movies?

Okay I gotta come back to this. I just saw the picture of him from that play he did in the nude and my Harry Potter image is gone for life. If he can do that then he can give James Bond a try.
