Who's Your Favorite: James Bond or Jason Bourne?

It's the ultimate showdown (of today): Jason Bourne vs. James Bond! Which character do you prefer? Matt Damon recently had some nasty words to say about James Bond and though I can see his point, I still enjoy the classic character — especially as interpreted by our most recent Bond, Daniel Craig.

So who is it for you: James Bond or Jason Bourne?

jason bourne is better and ill tell u y, bond uses guns ,gadgets and pen knifes whereas bourne can kill people with pens, books table cloths so imagine what he could with guns

I like Bourne better because the movies keep me interested longer and I like Matt Damon more than the current Bond, Daniel Craig. I miss Pierce Brosnan :(

While James Bond is a classic, I do really like Jason Bourne :)

I don't like Daniel Craig's Bond either. I'll skip over the part about how I think Daniel Craig looks like a troll doll and stick to the way they revamped the series. If I want a gritty, realistic, action-packed spy thriller, there's Bourne. Bond was different, with the sometimes outlandish plots and gadgets, the humor, Bond's unnatural charisma, the in-jokes for Bond fans. It was a different kind of fun from a Bourne movie, and they really killed it.

For some reason I think Bourne would outsmart Bond big time, IMO. Bourne is my pick no doubt!

Lovelovelove Bourne. That guy is badass, and the person who said that Bond could kill Bourne anyday is seriously out of their mind. Bond always relies on ridiculous gimmicks to off his enemies, whereas Bourne is all about hand-to-hand combat and on-foot chases. And Matt Damon brings more depth to a role that could just be about action. Daniel Craig almost got there, but then Quantum ruined it.

BOURNE!!! He killed a dude with a Bic pen and he killed another with a BOOK! They say all you need to know is reading, writin' and 'rithmatic. Next up for Bourne is to kill someone with Math. With Bond it's always a gun or a bomb or an STD.

As much as I enjoy Daniel Craig as the new bond - nothing beats Bourne!

I'd have to go with Bourne. While a lot of the Bond movies are great, the Bourne trilogy has wowed me and have gotten me totally invested in the whole Treadstone/Blackbriar mythology. The deconstruction of Jason Bourne has had more resonance to me than any of the Bond films. And, in a fight, Jason Bourne would totally win!

Bond over Bourne. Damon doesnt sit right with me as an action star. I hated the Bourne movies.

Yeah... I don't buy Daniel Craig as a Bond. I picked Jason Bourne mainly because his movies can hold my interest much more than the sum total of the Bond films. I want to like bond more, but I always find my mind wandering when I watch.
