True Blood: What Do You Think Jason's New Love Interest Is?

I know many of you have probably already read the book and might already know the answer, but I was wondering — what sort of supernatural character do you think Crystal is? She is clearly part animal with her movement and ability to smell but I don't think she is a werewolf, so what supernatural creature do you think she is?

i agree that it's a bummer that people felt the need to spoil this. Obviously if you read the books you would know (or have an idea, always depends on what Ball is going to do) but this sounded like the person wanted ideas of what she could be, talk about it with others who don't "know". Oh well. I actually always pictured her as a white trash-y kind of girl. That scene when Jason goes to her house was exactly what I pictured her as, never like a jersy shore type? Just kind of smart mouthed and bitchy. I'm sure we'll see more of the bitchy side soon.

@lizkiernan I'm also surprised by her. Maybe her character will have a turn around in the future or something. & to the people spoiling what she is, how rude. It clearly says that people who read the book will know, but what are people wondering ... a.k.a people who don't know already. It's so annoying when people have to ruin stuff for others.

Yeah, I was really surprised when I saw this lithe, blond woman playing her. She is NOTHING like what I pictured in the books. If her personality ends up being the same as in the books, it will be a tough sell.

A little off topic, but for those of you who read the book, is anyone else surprised at the 'type' of person they picked to play Crystal? I kind of pictured her as a 'jersey shore' type of girl, not an innocent looking sweetheart.

Recently they had panthers on the set so she could very well be a panther, but you never know what AB may come up with. I personally just like to watch ASkars on screen haha.

**spoiler** Um...she's a panther....but I don't think Alan Ball is gonna stick to the book...I hope they don't make her a werewolf!

I know what she is in the books, but I am curious if they'll stick to that for the TV show. I haven't heard any buzz about that particular animal, so I am leaning towards her being a wolf for the show, too.
