3 of Kaitlyn's Exes Weigh In on Being the Bachelor

It's down to the final two on The Bachelorette, and you know what that means — it's time to start placing bets on who will star in the next season of The Bachelor! (It's truly an endless cycle.) At the taping for the infamous "Men Tell All" episode, which airs tonight, I spoke with three handsome frontrunners for the coveted rose-wielding role. Jared Haibon, Ben Zorn, and Ben Higgins spilled on what they would say if they were asked to be the 2016 star of the show. Personally, I'd love to see them have both Bens duke it out, Britt and Kaitlyn style, for the role — perhaps in a shirtless wrestling match . . . but I digress. Jared Haibon
Jared, a 26-year-old restaurant manager from Warwick, RI, won over Kaitlyn with his sweet, easy-going personality. His goodbye was the most heartbreaking, as he was such a gentleman (even offering her his coat as she's walking him to the rejection limo) and so kind and respectful even up until the very end. While Jared has signed on to be on the second season of the spinoff Bachelor in Paradise, he's still open to the idea of being the Bachelor. He told me, "I was very lucky to go on this season and find love, so the idea of becoming the Bachelor and doing that again is very intriguing, [I would] take a lot of time to think about it and take it very seriously."

Ben Zorn
Ben Zorn is a 26-year-old fitness coach who lives in San Jose, CA. There was no denying the sexual attraction between him and Kaitlyn, but he also has a genuinely sweet personality, which we saw when he opened up to her about his mom dying when he was young (and how he hasn't cried since then). He definitely has the looks — and abs — to win over fans of the show. He told me, "I am holding off my decision right now, but they haven't asked me yet. If I were asked it would be something I would definitely consider."

Ben Higgins
Rumors have been swirling that Ben H. will be the next star of The Bachelor, but it's not confirmed yet. The 26-year-old software salesman from Denver, CO, has the looks and personality of Prince Charming and a winning smile that causes fainting wherever he flashes it. He told me, "If I was asked, I think you have to consider it."
Ben elaborated, "Being on this experience now has given me a lot of respect for the show and for the people involved in the show. It can work. I think there are a lot of odd, nontraditional, ways of dating nowadays, and this is one of those. Now, as a single man, if they put 25 women in a house with similar personality styles and they have already gotten to know you through another show, and you date them — yeah, that sounds great."
