Which Was Your Favorite VMA Performance Last Night?

While last night's VMAs didn't have any crazy stunts, it did have that Britney performance (in case you missed it, watch here). Hey, at least it gave us something to talk about? The rest of the show held some fun moments and a lot of blah ones. For me, Rihanna and Chris Brown totally redeemed the night — seriously, that boy can move! And Alicia Keys reminded me why she's so awesome. As for JT, he's always a great performer, but there were no real surprises. I'm not even counting those suite performances (what was the deal with that?). So, of the big acts which was your favorite VMA performance last night?

*~*Chris Brown...I know he lip-synched, but look at the choreography. There's no way he would have been able to sing and dance (like that) at the same time!!!! Even Justin couldn't sing & dance @ the same time...he put the mic down to dance!!! I'm a HUGE Chris Brown fan though!!*~*

Fall Out Boy did AWESOME with Rihanna. And Linkin Park did great too. I did like Chris Brown, 'till I found out he lip-synced. Not to mention Nelly/JT/Timbaland.

Chris' lip synching at the VMAs night didn't bother me because I've seen him perform live numerous times with dancing and I know he can sing. With the high rise acts he was doing at the VMAs it's understandable that he wanted to focus on his dancing.

Would have gone with Chris Brown but the lip-syncing turned me off a bit. JT was in top form as expected. He rocked it out!

I have not seen any but the Britney one on here I wonder what the others were like. As for Britney, I think it wasn't as it was planned, I must be so very hard to try and make a come back so I don't plan to sit in judgment of her. Either you like her music or don't I hope it only gets better from here for her

None totally impressed me. Britney's not worth commenting on. Alicia Keys merely gets props for not stopping to watch the Kid Rock/Tommy Lee fight. Chris Brown was really good, but the Rihanna interruption was not needed. And the Timbaland/JT/Nelly performance was alright, but it was like I'd seen it all before.

hmm didnt watch it 4 the frst time in like soo many yrs. :P! but i voted 4 rihanna and chris brown..i always kno that rihanna will do good and ofcourse chris brown...then i think would come JT and nelly furtado and timbaland. :D I heard Britney spears..was lip syncing. :P pffft..shes sooo oveeer!! man i kinda feel bad bout her..owell. :P OH YEA THIS IS LIKE MY FRST COMMENT POST I MADE ON BUZZSUGAR. :D

THANK YOU, MrSpiven!! Finally an authentic voice! I agree wholeheartedly. The MTV VMA's have been disappointing for a few years now; there have been no (imo) truly original sounds/artists in quite a while. BUT! That's just my take on it.

i thought everyone was boring. i thought chris brown was the most fun to watch. i appreciate alicia keys, but songs like hers that slow everything down kind of bother me. overall, i thought this year was a total bust.

i'm a shameless Fallout Boy follower... i would have loved to see them as an option. okay, Fallout Boy without Pete Wentz's "look-at-me!" attitude. Patrick is just the cutest!
