This upcoming weekend will be very exciting at movie theaters. Out of the following movies opening this Friday August 3, which are you most interested to see? Is it Hot Rod with the funny and charmingly tousled Andy Samberg? Or Becoming Jane starring Anne Hathaway? Perhaps it's El Cantante with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, or David Wain and Ken Marino's The Ten? Or maybe you'll go for younger fare with the Bratz movie, or Underdog? Of course, this could all be meaningless, seeing as The Bourne Ultimatum opens this weekend, too.

2Yeah, none of these movies is going to make me run out and spend $10 at the theater.

4underdog is being played by a real dog. who made this movie? did they even watch the cartoon? grrgargagagaggggh.
5this was a hard one but i picked becoming jane. i'll not be seeing any in the theatre though (these movies won't come out in NZ for 6 months or something and i'll be home in 4) but i'll rent them for sure!

15A biopic about Jane Austen should be more exciting but I can't help but have reservations. Anne Hathway as Jane? I don't see it. Plus, Jane's extremely breif romance was didn't exactly end happily ever after. Don't know if I could sit through a fairy tale spin on Austen's life even if it does have beautiful regency era costumes.

17'becoming jane' looks like such a lovely movie! i just hope it's in a semi-wide release so i don't have to wait TOO long to see it.

23I picked Hot Rod but really, no plans to go see it. All of the new releases right now look pretty lame.
24Bourne- loved the other two and haven't been eagerly awaiting this one. I wish I had a babysitter, though.....
25Becoming Jane, Jane Austin is easily one of my favorite authors, so I hope the movie is good. Bourne 3 looks good too, the hubby and I have seen the other two and we're both fans, but I feel a little hesitant to see this movie for some reason.
26I saw Hot Rod last night and it's the funniest movie I've seen in a LONG time!
I seriously recommend EVERYONE go see it!

30I already saw 'Becoming Jane' at an advanced screening at it was wonderful. Depressing, but really beautifully done. Next up: Bourne. Definitely want to see that too.

33The Bourne Ultimatum! I loved the first two and plus, Matt looks SO HOT in the trailer! *fans self* haha. I'm not really interested in any of the other movies coming out, especially Underdog and Bratz... though the girls in Bratz are very pretty ^^. lol
34El Cantante. A lot of people are not going to watch it because they said as if it would be gigli pt.2 but this movie actually looks good + If I watched gigli just for Jennifer, I'm gonna watch this too. It looks really good. I can't wait to watch it
