Which Project Runway Designer's Collection Should've Won?

Project Runway may be over and done for the season, but I haven't stopped thinking about it yet. Christian's dark, high-fashion collection earned him the top prize over Jillian and Rami — but what if Sweet P and Chris, who both created collections and showed at New York Fashion Week even though they'd been eliminated from the competition, had still been eligible for the prize?

Take a look at all the collections (for easy clicking, here are Sweet P's, Chris's, Jillian's, Rami's, and Christian's), and then let me know: If all five designers' collections counted, whose should have won?

Jillian's. It was innovative and most of her clothing was wearable.

I love Rami's the best, but Jillian's and Christian's were good too.

I'm glad Christian's collection won, more because of what I think it will do for him than because I actually liked it. He's not going to sell on QVC like his predecessors, I think he'll go far. That said, Chris' collection was as over the top as Christian's in its own way. I know I'll be in the minority, but Sweet P's was my favorite.

I liked Christian's individual pieces, but I was shocked that they didnt' mention that he did a million jackets! Seriously, it was one black jacket after another walking down the runway. They were dramatic and all that, but I would have liked to have seen more variety.

I liked Jillian's jacket at the finale, but my heart belongs to Christian. I think that some people forget that runway isn't exactly wearable in real life, unless your Victoria Beckham of course. It was fun, cohesive and "fierce" ;).

I LOVED Jillian's! I would definitely wear some of those items and they seemed the most marketable to me. I am glad Christian won - I do think he's fierce and his collection was awesome. I was torn between him and Jillian though. While I like the woven aspects of Rami's and the last 2 dresses, I don't dig his simple stuff OR his colors...and that's something I noticed myself it's not from Michael Kors. =p Rami does not wow me. I still want that coat that Jillian and Victorya made!

over the course of the show, I loved Jillian's clothes the most, but Rami put the best runway collection out there and that should be all that mattered. How come they never got on Christian for doing the same thing over and over?

I think that Christian really put out a great couture show. I don't think that his clothes would translate to every woman...mainly only the Victoria Beckham's or Chloe Svigney. I think he won for the creativity and his showmanship...but personally I really loved Chris, Jillian and Sweet P's collections. Their's translated well to normal people (well except the human hair eww). Rami's collection was very sophisticated and would sell well with older women...just my opinion. He makes beautiful clothing but it isn't for all demographics though his evening wear is exquisite.

To add, I'm not bored because they're not talented - all of them are very talented, and create things I know I can't. Kudos to all the designers, even the ones who didn't get this far. I just feel like there are always clothes you can actually wear that look great. Well known and not so well known designers make them all the time. I think once in a while you can find clothes that look great, that you can actually wear, and that make people stop and look, and that's what Christian was able to create that the others did not (along with his over-the-top looks).

I like Chris' collection, but the use of that cheap weave was his downfall. Human hair tracks tend to dry out after a while, and when not properly cared for, will look AWFUL after a short time. It's fair to assume that care for your garment and hair-care do not blend well at all. That said, as edgy as it was, it was doomed to fail. I also kept expecting one of the girls to sprout fangs, and start biting the people in the audience - still a little too costume-y. He'll catch on, though; I think we haven't seen the last of him. Maybe I'm alone, but Rami bores the crap out of me as a person and as a designer. Same with Jillian. Yawn. Next, please. Christian's collection has that perfect blend of costume and couture that Chris was missing, and that Rami and Jillian never really had, and I really believe that's why he won.

As much as i love christian and been a fan of his since the first episode i really think Rami step it up with his collection. There were many pieces i could have seen myself wearing it.

I felt like Christian was the only one with a cohesive collection. And I must say, I liked Chris much better than Rami personally, but after looking at the final collections, Rami was definitely the better choice...

I voted for Christian I love how fabulous and fierce his collection was!! Rami's collection was great as well although I do agree with the judges that he has trouble picking out colors. The weaving on some of garments was just fantastic. I like Jillian but sometimes I just found her a little boring. I guess I think dramatic a lot when I think Project Runway. I love that Christian made Victoria Beckham smile, and that she could make fun of herself. Hopefully, we won't have to wait long for another season!!

If I voted purelyon the collection I would have to choose Rami's coolection as the best. It was sophisticated, exquisitely made and showed a good range while still maintaining a cohesiveness. That said, both Jillian and Christian put out strong collections, as well. Sweet Pea's was blah and Chris' was highly entertaining, but not up to the level of the top 3. I am happy with Christian's win, because he was consistently the strongest performer throughout the season. And he was funny. I also found Rami to be charming and sweet--especially from the reunion episode to the finale. Overall, I think the judges chose well this season.
