Which of These Celebrities is Smarter than a Fifth Grader?

I'll admit, when Kellie Pickler was "what's a ballsy"-ing her way through season five of "American Idol," I did occasionally question her intelligence. But is she smarter than a fifth grader? I guess we'll soon find out. Pickler is among the celebrities who will guest-star on "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader" during November sweeps. Also going to the head of the class: Clay Aiken, Regis Philbin, Billy Bush, Tony Hawk, and Miss America (Lauren Nelson). They're playing for charity, so I imagine that they'll all be doing their best, and not intentionally mispronouncing words to seem cuter (ahem, Pickler). But which of them — if any — do you think has the greatest chance of taking home the $1 million top prize?

I am not American but have followed clay for nearly 4 yrs now. I have also learned so much. Clay and his fans are so miss understood, mainly by people that are so biased and closed minded, that they just will never make the effort to actually know what they are talking about. Scary part it is not only about Clay and his fans, but everything that they are closed minded about. Clay is very wise for his age, and will do very well here ( I have since found out that he did, do very well)

I know that CLAY AIKEN will do the best of all of these celebrities! Clay is a very smart man. And I'll bet the kids had a great time with Clay because Clay is also funny. He probably had everybody laughing! And for those of you who are logging on here just to criticize Clay and the Claymates, I'll just say this, everyone knows who you are, once and for all get over it, this is about kids here, give it a rest, everyone is totally burned out on it. GO CLAY!!!

For some reason my post was taken off of here...but what I shared was I was surprised at all the haters that come otu to diss a man they really don't know. I was at this taping and Clay came won the most money over both Kelli and Regis, but the great thing was they ALL were able to win money for their charities, and that is what counts! Right?! No need to put anyone down.

claysmyheart, true and I agree with you 101%! Clay's truly the real "package", smart, quick witted, handsome, sexy, an excellent entertainer, a very superb singer, has a warm heart, especially with kids and a good humanitarian...and I could go on and on and on. I love this guy very much! I know he's going to be great on this show....with his intelligence???!! Pretty sure!!!

I am always amazed and bewildered by people that will spend time signing up and logging in to topics that are about someone they dislike. I would never go to a site of someone who was not my fave just to spew hatred!! Those that do attack Clay are doing so out of such ignorance. It is one thing to find that he is not your style or cup of tea , but it is another thing altogether to attack the Man's character when it is evident you don't follow his career or know the first thing about him. Not for one moment would Clay have been appointed as UNICEF Ambassador or to a special committee for people with Intelectual disablities by the White House or even have his own Bubel/Aiken foundation for children with autisum if he was not intelligent ...Just not possible. What is also difficult for people who don't like Clay to believe is that people in the industry are completely blown away by just how remarkably nice & what a gentleman Clay really is . Clay & Kimmel are really good friends & Clay also still keeps in touch with Tyra Banks . Jeff Foxworthy gave Clay kudos for not just that he was a great entertainer but his character was one that he greatly admired. The late Merv Griffin extolled praises on Clay and said that he knew he was going to be a star ! It goes on and on ! As one poster mentioned it is about raising money for these needed charities . Everyone on that show did that and had fun while they were at it . That IMO is what it is all about .....HELLPING OTHERS!!

It's obvious none of these people have ever been made love to by Clay's eyes. If they had, they would know how intelligent, charitable, and downright handsome he is. He's the ideal idol, and he doesn't look anything like Peewee Herman in a wig.

To all those who don't know a thing about Clay, yet post stupid comments, of the 3 who already taped the show, (Kellie, Regis and Clay), Clay won the most for his charity. The show supposedly airs in november, so watch and learn.

Clay Aiken by far!!! He is smart enough to win the MILLION. However, he will be extremely cautious because he loves these kids so much and won't want to take any chances with the answers/money. He not only is a huge talent, but has charisma, heart, is good-looking, great wit, a great personality and is probably the smartest celebrity listed so far for the show. Bring it on Clay!!! Start some more camps for those kids. You are a great humanitarian.

I think Tony Hawk has a good chance. I'm not sure the exact ages, but I know he has school age kids (he seems the kind of Dad that helps out with homework to me).

Clay Aiken will do great. He's intelligent and quick witted so the show should be a lot of fun to watch. For those who doubt this, you'll see the real Clay when the show is aired.

I would say Clay would do best. He is definitely very intelligent, not only being a recent college, but someone who was a teacher and had a life plan to be a school principal. Having seen, heard and read various speeches he has made in recent years, he is very articulate and seems to have a lot of knowledge in many areas. He constantly watches news programs, which I would think would be helpful. He is also very quick witted. His goals of setting up a foundation and getting them to where they are in just a few short years also shows great strategy and planning. Plus he has pretty much become a world traveler through his celebrity and humanitarian efforts, including his own foundation and Unicef. Don't think he'll get the final million because he won't risk losing that much money for his charity, but do think he will go very far.

I'm not surprised to see Clay leading this poll and I won't be surprised if he does best of all. I've seen him on tv and in concert and even heard him speak at a benefit and he's actually very intelligent, articulate and quick witted. Bet he does great for the Bubel Aiken Foundation here!
