What's Buzzworthy? Must-Read Memoirs
Personal memoirs are all the rage in publishing these days, for better or for worse. The great ones prove that truth really is stranger than fiction: Some of my personal favorites include Augusten Burroughs' Dry and Mary Karr's The Liars' Club. Other, meanwhile, have actually turned out to be fiction — I'm looking at you, James Frey.
Whether they're sentimental or just plain scary, memoirs can be a great read. The challenge is sorting out the good from the bad. So tell me: What memoirs do you think are must-reads?
Using BuzzSugar's cool Buzzworthy bookmarking tool, just find the books you love on the Web, bookmark them as Buzzworthy, and tag or title your choices with the word memoirs. Then, I'll post the readers' favorites next week.
