What's Your Favorite Medical Show?

With "Private Practice" starting up this season, and old favorites like "Grey's Anatomy," "ER," "House" and "Scrubs" returning for more medical crises and hilarious situations, it seems you can't turn on the TV without seeing someone wielding a stethoscope.

What's your favorite medical show on TV right now?

i love House! is the best!:D.. i used to watch Grey's anatomy...but now I'm so over it!.. i like Scrubs though.. it's funny! haha and rowdy! is the best! :P

I agree loooooogjacket, I love Scrubs, but its a comedy, I don't see it for a medical show. It just happens to take place in a hospital. :)

I watch all of them except House, but House is a really good show. I say Scrubs is best, ER and Grey's (this season) tie for me at second...and Private Practice, well I'm not sure why I'm still watching it but I guess it's 3rd. You know I hated Addison on Grey's at first and then I really warmed up to her and loved her but I'm right back to hating her on Private Practice.

HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE. i used to watch grey's but it's hardly about the patients. and scrub is a COMEDY! i don't think it belongs in the same category because it's SO hilarious.

I love Grey's, but House... oh, my... House is soooo PERFECT! Hugh Laurie is probably the best actor on TV ever!

scrubs is the best, hands down...followed extremelyclosely by house. grey's is pretty good and i use to watch ER religiously, but it all went to crap after the original cast left.

HOUSE! I just find Hugh Laurie hilarious and my friends and I always giggle over how he's British and does an American accent for the show. Did anyone see that MadTV skit where they said House was "written by men for women who like abusive men" ?

After all these years, I still watch ER every week. I also watch Scrubs pretty frequently. I am one of the few that Grey's does absolutely nothing for.

Grey's and House is not even close when it comes to a medical show. It's unrealistic. When you sleep around with attendings, there are serious consequences. Also, no physician will EVER go into a patient's house (House, MD) and they will definitely not do all that work. That's why there are consults and other subspecialties in medicine. Plus, ER is supposed to be based in Chicago's Cook County Hospital ... and trust me, it's not like that in there and it's definitely not like that in the ER. I work in the medical field and Scrubs is the most realistic when it comes to medicine. It's what goes through a medical resident's head, so it's very relatable.

ER, without a doubt. Thursday is the only day I watch any TV anymore. Starts wtih Survivor, then The Office, and capped off with my favorite show - ER! :D Sadly I missed an episode once, but I'll see it one day in reruns :)

I love Scrubs, but House is my favorite. I think it has more to do with my affections for Hugh Laurie than anything else though.
